For the longest time the 355 market was flat. Everyone was saying that the reason 355's weren't going up was because the maintenance was so expensive. Now it seems like the GTS and the GTB are really escalating in price. Obviously the maintenance is still the same. I'm wondering if the buyers of these cars are more collector/ Investors than actual enthusiast?

Enthusiast driver here. Every time I post if for sale my balls shrink up and take it down a day or so later. Nothing to replace it with that interests me really. Maybe fully loaded 430 gated but that's not in my budget. Wait either is my 355.

People said the same thing about testarossas.

Now look at the prices they bring.

Simple supply and demand. In this case the supply has not changed much. The demand side is the culprit just like with most Ferrari's that are older than it.

Not sure. I can say I bought one at the end of last year because I didn't want to get priced out.

(But not for investment, I am an enthusiast).

I knew I needed an F355 for a "keeper" and felt that waiting was not going to be good for me financially.
