Spirot and Wade i understand your point of view ! What do you think of the following watch i bought some days ago at Museo Casa E. Ferrari? I was about to go out of the museum and....saw it at the museum store. Vintage clean look, domed crystal, 43mm wide, stainless steel. Swap the leather strap for a "maille Milanaise" bracelet. 60's style watch and 60's style bracelet. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is *MUCH* more attractive than the Hublot's, for sure. I even like the black leather strap. Unfortunately, I tend to kill leather straps (too much persperation on my wrist, I guess). gp
I just purchased a 1997 Girard Perregaux model 8020 Ferrari watch..... Some of the Cartier watches are Seikos... not all... some....
My G-P Ferrari Challenge watch (pictured toward the beginning of this thread) is an 8020. I'm still not entirely clear on what defines an 8020 vice, say, an 8028 - which my F360GT watch is (I think), even though it looks nearly identical to the 8020 (only hands are different?)... Regardless, I still like the looks of them. gp (no relation to the watchmaker, or "The Watchmaker".... )

Any thoughts good or bad on the current lineup of various low priced quartz "Ferrari" watches available from The Ferrari Store? Are any worth getting and collecting, or just buy them if you like them and wear without any cares?
Well I'm looking for info on my old watch...thanks in advance for any info you might have available.... I probably bought this 30+ years ago at a Ferrari dealer...(I gave it to my wife a long time ago and she changed out the band, she just found it again today)...sorry for the bad pic, but although it needs a battery, the watch itself is still in pretty good shape... It says Swiss Made on the back, and also has the Prancing Horse and the number 80306. Maybe that means 1980 #306...that would be about correct, I bought my 75 Dino in 1981 and may have gotten the watch then...the gold clasp has the Prancing Horse on it too. ... Eberhard & Co "Tazio Nuvolari". Tazio Nuvolari (16 November 1892 – 11 August 1953), nicknamed "The flying Mantuan", motorcycle racer and racing driver drove for Enzo Ferrari's Scuderia from 1933 to 1937. Take a look a his yellow jersey with the letters "TN" (Tazio Nuvolari) on the breast and the gold turtle brooch. Why a turtle ? The Italian poet Gabriele D’Annunzio gave him a golden turtle bearing the dedication: «To the fastest man in the world, the slowest animal» ! In 1992, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Tazio Nuvolari birthday Eberhard & Co dedicated a watch to his memory.
