Do I have to change engine oil or other fluids every year on my F512M if I drove around 500-1000 KM annually ? Same question to other Fcars (e.g. 16M) ?

Check the manual. I recall something like a year or maybe 6 months on oil. One or two years on brake fluid? Antifreeze, gear oil etc. I think the issue w oil is it absorbs moisture. If you drive it and get it to operating temps, you drive off moisture in hot oil, but the additive package gets consumed.

This is a pretty well addressed issue. If you want to do best for the machine, follow the owners manual.

some brake fluids absorb water but engine oil does not.
However, oil becomes acidic with use so it is a good idea to change it regularly IMO.

I agree about other cars. But I've heard of 40,000 mile motors being rebuilt. I wouldn't do that.
Just thought of something - maybe the motors needed rebuilding 'cause they were using the same oil :)

I've seen oil in an oil can get stale. Maybe it oxidizes? There's a service which can analyze oil for $50. It looks for various metals to detect a problem. Not sure if this would catch oil degrading or the oil's additive package degrading. Say the oil had had tetra-methyl-iso-para-butyl-whatever in it as a corrosion preventative at some x%. The analysis company would need the initial recipe to know if it changed. More support to just change it.

Thanks Guys for the inputs and suggestions; reason to ask is my newly acquired 512M has only 8923KM now and plan to put around 1000KM each year; I just took it our from storage yesterday and first time to drive it. Moreover my 16M has only 2800 KM (also newly acquired this year) , will put more mileage on it. I had refresh all the fluids on both cars as a base line for future maintenance. Yes, I would read the manual to make sure the fluid change schedules.
