Out of curiosity does anyone know where the "4WD" emblem some of the trucks have on the front fender came from? Ours has them but have no idea where to get them should I need replacements.
Thanks Brian. I would guess the emblem comes for Chrysler parts bin... or other italian manufacturers such as Fiat, Lancia, etc. Can You post pic of the emblem again please?

Screenshot. Torque improve a LOT. Engine also runs smoother, on the way home I thought the engine was dead/stalled and asked my mechanic "what happened" ? Turns out he was driving relaxed at 1500rpm but I felt no vibration from the engine bay Image Unavailable, Please Login
5 Wheel HP difference and 6lb-ft torque with the fuel additive. We did not change any settng or timng advance between the two runs. I still don't understand why the wheel HP result s so low. Any difference due to the 34 inch tall tires ? LM now runs fine, smooth engine, pulls hard. It used to be running a bit rich but it was corrected today. BTW Dyno uses 3rd gear and pulls until 6750 Rpm but chart shows 5600 Rpm ?? There was a UK-spec 2006 Subaru WRX 2.5 dyno tested before me running a mild 0.7 bar boost and got 204 whp which is about 268 engine HP (Dyno Dynamics use 24% loss for Mitsubishi EVO and Scooby WRX)... so I guess the dyno result for that car is about correct.
Next test should be rolling start acceleration race from 10 kmh to 100 kmh LM002 against an E34 BMW 530i 5-speed manual. Factory data says both cars acceleration time is identical. I the LM002 can accelerate as fast as the 530i then the dyno numbers are grossly understated.
Aaaahhh... got this anwer from the internet : "Nelson performance did a study on this one and the conclusion was the bigger the tire or wheel, the smaller your hp numbers will be because of the extra rotating mass that you have." Well the LM wheels+tires also weigh about 50 kgs (110lb) each. That won't help. Also the center transfer case with reduction gear robs another HP.
Your LM002's target AFR of 14.3 seems high to me. I don't know about Lambo V12s but BMW V8s make best power at 11 to 12.5:1 AFR
I think an Axle mounted awd dyno would give you better results if you had access to one, Ive used them on my Gallardo, and other cars, no wheel or tire loss...nice results though!
Factory data says peak power is at 6800 Rpm not 5700 Rpm. Italian-sized circles ? Factory said fuel tank is 295 liters but it is actually 195 liters. Lambrusco typewriter !
Running 2 gearboxes (transmission and transfer case) and massive heavy tires I would expect losses at around 30% to 40% Good that drivability has improved , the LM starts like a Toyota Camry now with the Haltech
Yes , something weird going on with Lambos power figures for the LM , same as their fuel tank capacities (290 liters is 200 liters)
Next time do a dyno run with the air filters disconnected , sucking straight into the throttle bodies
Tony, A good and efficient Scooby WRX with lightweight 17in wheels has 24% loss according to Dyno Dynamics manual. I'm not surprised if mine loses 50%
There's still another 50 or 70 RWHP missing even with a 50% loss if the factory power numbers aren't lies. I think you're also getting weird results from the tires.
Tony, We need to test rolling start 10-100 kmh with Your 530i. It should be equal. Today I am happy with the corrected ECU setting. My shirt does not smell fuel anymore after driving the car. Really night and day difference. Car is not running rich anymore. I am VERY excited about the result of the R2F TXR. Higher torque from the low rpm. Peak torque difference is not that much but the low-mid rpm is a great bump where You need them the most on daily driving. 12 Exhaust gas temp is 50 deg lower too.
I think your going to see BMW tail lights in the distance Good stuff Yes it works , I'm pleased with the result considering there were no changes to the ignition or fuel settings which means there's even more power there if you want to bump up the ignition advance. What did Ovi (dyno operator) say when he saw the results ? Looking forward to the RON / MON lab results this week.
