Interesting. I'm sure a lot of us would like you to elaborate on that one.

And when you've elaborated on that comment, can you then tell us what entitles you to make such a statement, about people you know nothing about?

On Gilligan's Island the cars are made out of two logs, six coconuts, a couple of dozen palm leaves and some salvaged army rations crates.

That darned Professor could build a functioning radio out of two coconuts and a can of spam. But could he fix a hole in a boat? Nooooooo....

If you had those babes on an island, would YOU fix the boat?

    I would not.

All the Perfesser needed was to have Mrs. Howell come sneaking into his tent one night...the boat would have been repaired the next day.

Last week I took the Testarossa for a doctors appointment down by UCLA. I was at a stop light near Westwood when I noticed this student on a Vespa (various books strapped down on a book bag rack) pointing and saying something. I rolled down the passenger window and he was all excited to see a Testarossa in person and asked to take a picture or two. So I pulled over and gave him the full tour.

I popped the the engine lid so he could take some pics and let him sit in the passenger seat etc. After saying good by, we pulled out together and the light changed. I gave her some gas to impress the kid, then I saw him actually gaining on me from the rear view mirror..on a Vespa! No F'n way! So I shifted into second with full throttle to loose him. But there he was...still in my passenger side blind spot at 60 mph. The kid must have been an engineering student with a souped up scooter.

I let the flat 12 fly into third and approached 100MPH on Wilshire blvd only to see the kid and his scooter fly past me and crash in a horrific spectacle. He had to be doing 120 MPH when the scooter disintegrated. I hit the hazard lights and got out to render aid. Poor kid was still alive among the field of Vespa parts.

I asked him, "What the hell kid....you got some sort of NOS kit on that thing?"

Kid replied, "Nitrous my a$$.....the bungee cord from my book rack got caught in your door!"

    Old Joke.

Good one! Lol. This reminds me when I met a cool guy on a Vespa on the west side highway when I was driving my 458. We complimented each other and we were like "hey, they're both Italian" lol. He kept catching up to me only because of the lights. Lol

I was driving in town around noon and stopped at a stop sign next to a park. There were a Couple of dozen people wearing blue shirts with white letters. They all started clapping wildly. I waved. And gave them some good old 458 exhaust music.

I love the joy an Fcar brings!

Couldn't tell if it was a team. Softball...no gloves or bats. Soccer...no goals in the park. Could have been high schoolers but they were not in walking distance of school and there were no buses.

Back in the mid-90s I was driving my 348Spider from Atlanta to our Florida beach house to do some maintenance. I had the top done with some lumber sticking out the back with red rags tied on them. While pumping gas near Tallahassee, a women commented, "...nice car, is that the new Mustang...? I told her yes and kept pumping.
