GTS roof color change - wrap

I doubt it would stick well as its a textured surface but not sure.

Could do padded leather. F355 gts landau edition

 

It would look like a red Berlinetta.

 

for a gts always preferred matching top.

I found the black top brock the lines of the car.

I had mine wrapped in 2013 on the textured surface & still as good as new. See post #15 for photo.

Same here. I am looking into doing a wrap if they can match the paint colour.

 

When I had my GTS, I bought an extra top and had it painted to match. That might be an option worth considering.

 

I guess the best thing is the wrap can come off.

Have them put it on and see how you like it, if you don't like it yank it off.

Did no GTS come with painted tops?

 

As others have noted, with a wrap, the colour matching could be an issue.

None of the 348 or 355 targa tops were painted by the factory, they all left the factory with the black textured finish.

 

Surely that's not right re 355. It was a factory option as far as I was aware, at least on the later cars.

 

If I had a GTS, I would get a second top. One original, one painted. Best of both worlds.

because I have no clue, but it would seem the smart way would be to offer either. If you wanted it painted or not.

 

I don't have proof but I recall being told it was an option.

 

Mine came with the color matched roof as a factory option. Sept 97 build stamp.
