Price is $5000, but all reasonable offers will be considered. Kit is in pristine condition, and includes everything. More photos can be taken and posted, if requested.

    Good day Greg,

Out of curiosity why do you think this tool kit is for a 512BB? I ask, as it may (also) be for the later Daytonas, 365 Gt4 2+2's, C4's, etc.

    Cheers,
    Sam

Earliest versions(Daytona, C4 etc.) of the briefcase toolkit used Everest brand spanners.

As far as I can tell, it is indeed a 512 BB kit. I've consulted with an owner of one who confirms it's the correct kit. A Google image search also shows it's the correct kit. The kits for the other cars you listed are not exactly the same, but fairly similar.

The only thing in question, that I can tell, is the interior case color: some cases show a red velvet-like lining, while others show a brown velvet lining (like the one I have). Perhaps this was because of model year?

I have a 1976 512 BB. The trays in the kit that hold the tools are red while the foam on the top and the bottom of the case are a cream color.

What brand of wrenches does your kit have?

Here are photos of the front and back of one of the wrenches. The one side simply says "Ferrari", while the other says "CHROME VANDIUM KRAVM". A quick google search shows that Kravm is an Italian tool maker. I've seen other Ferrari toolkits that are also branded Kravm...hmm

On one side it says POLYTOOLS - ITALY, on the other side it says CHROM - VANADIUM.

So, you have a 512 BB? Maybe this kit is for a BBi? It would be like Ferrari to change the toolkit like that for the newer version of the car.

    Good day Greg,

I asked, as the 512BB parts manual shows a different kit... See attached pic. Notice that there is not a spark plug spanner in the tool kit, but is a larger one that is in the jack bag.

    Cheers,

    Sam

    Good day Again Greg,

I am pretty sure the BBi's used tool pouch and not the briefcase style. Looking at the 512BBi part's manual indicates this as well.

    Cheers,

    Thanks Sam and everyone else.

In that case (no pun intended), I'm perplexed. Any other suggestions as to which model this kit belongs to?

I believe it has to be for a carbureted car. The tool next to the pliers is a carburetor wrench. So the tool kit should be for a 512 BB or earlier car.

Ferrari kept supplying carb keys well into injected production.

the large head jacks seems to go missing and get replaced with the small head 308 jacks.
i have a couple of the large head jacks if there is any interest.

We are taking offers as well.

looks like it is for a 365 Daytona, Carb BB or 2+2.

Kits all seem just about the same.

    Regards, Jim

365 ? GT2+2. Or. GT4 2+2 ? My gt2+2 came with a suitcase tool kit. I asked Tom. He said he had only seen tool rolls for this model. But it is a late production car Rhd. My gtc/4 came with a 308 style jack. -- not a battani as in the parts diagram. The gtc/4 website. Shows many cars with similar. 308 jacks if not equal to the pictures of battani jacks. I think I read in a past thread that Ferrari weren't very strict about tools and jacks for the earlier cars. It seems v confusing

Parts book shows it for all those cars but was told it was for a 512bb carb car.

    regards, Jim
