dtoff, v-twelve, just trying to be humorous in a sad situation. but i do see the kids as an investment....someone to take over the family business...for sure the procreation (the fun part of acquisition), upbringing, education, career, their marriage (first one coming up as just got engaged this past weekend), and the final phase of disposition whereby i pass on to them to manage the capital gains. i see them as assets in the sense that if properly managed, their job is the further gains on the portfolio which they assume. the family, which is the company, has short term, mid term and long term goals. i have completed the short term goals (last 35 years), and now look to them for the midterm goals, and their heirs as the longterm strategy. including me at times, we all look for quick gains....but if it looks too good, it is suspect. so i can touch the kids, the house, the other stuff, but touching the piece of paper that says i own x number of shares in y company, it has never been for me. not saying people do not make a living at it, and some very good living, but i know my limitations (and ignorance) of the world and i am happy to buy a property, spend 10 years to pay it off, refinance it and buy another property, and continue the cycle. i dont know how someone can say 15% return per month, or even 5% per month on a continuance basis, and my suspect antennae goes up. i still dont know how people can send money to a princess in nigeria with the promise of millions of $ in return. or the guy who is in the military and on a ship for the next 6 months and wants to use a bogus paypal account to buy my car. i must be really naive, as i still do not understand the value of timeshare and all my friends are into buying them....who spends $30,000 per week to buy this timeshare stuff, and than the fees each year per week, and than the airflight, transportation, meals, booze.........i can pick hundreds of resorts at $1,000 each per person per week all inclusive. i just do not understand these reza's of the world, or the people who really believe they can get 15% per month and invest $100,000+ with this joker. if someone wants $10,000 from me, i want to know everything about them including who else they could be _____ing so that i dont end up with their thumb up my a__. can you americans give us back that justin beaver guy and we will swap you with this reza character. oh but hold on....you did manage conrad black for us for a couple of years....so i guess we cant ask for two favours. but really......what is the difference between duffy/wallin/breazeau/black/cra and reza...all of them live of the avails of human suffering and do not know a day of decent hardwork. enough of my verbage....i think time for a scotch to drown out the sorrows

I didn't think FPA admin would remember that. BTW anothr guy from Turkey has posted about CTM not paying him back is $77,000 or so.

I suspect he could be behind some of the posters here who keep slamming Reza in a bid to make this whole thread look like a threat towards him. Thank goodness for Spring, even if it doesn't look like it from where I am.
I was just coming to post the link. I keep track of unethical things done by brokers and their employees. Then I try to help the borderline ones improve and warn people away from the ones which keep doing it. Reza has moved himself to the second category. Reza sent me a new email... I wonder what he'll say when he finds a thread just for him in the Scoundrels folder?

I think that Reza and the Minions (good name for a band) have other things on their minds at the moment. Like jail and/or insolvency.
Wow. Victims of this scam need to come forward. If anyone who has been scammed needs help getting in touch with Canadian authorities feel free to PM me. This whole situation is very upsetting and needs to come to an end.
I wonder if Reza has an empty feeling on the inside? He keeps up his claims of millions of followers but can only rally less than two dozen. He thinks money is what makes the person. Oddly enough no one on this site brags. Ok, maybe sometimes, but its ok to be boastful on occasion. All oceanscam does it showoff what he has accumulated, unfortunately it looks like by stealing others savings. If he would have just ignored the various threads, he would still be way under the radar, his own self-importance will be his undoing.
