Ok, so after reading many, many posts, I know this is a "controversial" topic. But, I just love the traditional rear round lights on a Ferrari, and I also love the side strakes of the 348 and Testarossa. Therefore, I really want to do this conversion on my 348 spider. However, I cannot find anyone who makes this conversion. I know some threads have mentioned the "Husker kit". But, I can't find them online, and I reached out to Husker on here, and have not heard back from him yet. So, does anyone know where to get ahold of one of these kits? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

P.S. for the diehards, I am definitely keeping the factory taillights and strake for the future...

To me the 348 is such a beauty on all sides except the back. The rear portion is just a complete miss....That look fits the TR but just doesn't do it for me on a 348.

    Great mod, go for it!

Wow, seriously.....haven't you guys seen how mean and evil the standard 348 rear lights look at night?

Such a unique wonderful look, and you want to change it :/

I prefer the 355, but if I had a 348 I don't think there's a single thing I would change on it, besides the exhaust.

I have seen the conversion you want on a couple of 348 and it does not look good. The lenses are tilted forward and look wrong.

The Husker grill is also known as the Le Mans grill and in my opinion is a nice grill. It exaggerates the rear of the 348 which is wide and it really provides the challenge look as found on many Ferraris. With it the car will look much closer to a 355 from the back, but not exact. And, I like that because it is not a clone and it has its own characteristic. I believe the grill uses 550 lights which you can adjust so they sit correctly without pointing up. This is from my own research on it. It also keeps the engine a little cooler due to the openings in the grate.

I saw a gentleman on FerrariAds that bought a warehouse of parts and he also had this grill. Look in there.

I'm not pro or against it. Simply sharing what I learned because I had a very similar question a few months back.

Oh boy, ok so if you like the round rear lights - its your car you do as you please! I did, I love it and like someone else posted it can go back to stock in an hour. I know I have done it. I went with a 355 challenge grill, 355 rear lights, they sit perfectly. If anyone here tells you they are going to point up with the way I did it they do not at all. YES its costly, but worth it in my opinion. I will post a few photo's.

And the lights are pointed perfectly, I doubt Husker made any money in this endeavor he did for the Brotherhood, great product!

Probably true. I found mine off eBay. I think the guy sold his 348 before he put it on and I got it for $500 never installed. I realize this modification is not for everyone, but I sure like it. Husker spent a great deal of time creating it and it's good quality.

I think this or an f40 style rear would suit the car better. Round tail light look but more in fitting with the slightly sharper edges of the 348.

He was referring to his own. If you look at his, they are perfectly installed.

The 348 is indeed a work of art, moreso than the F355.

That 348 Challenge is nice that said... But I'm into "100% stock".

Now if you really want to go with the mod, maybe keep the original parts instead of selling them and make sure the mod is reversible? So the next buyer will be able to go back to stock if he wants to?
