Saleen S7 in Kakaako.
The S7 only has ~300 miles I understand. Kevin, now I see your post regarding the 250 GTO Never noticed this thread. I guess I should have posted the pic here Image Unavailable, Please Login

There was a Fisker Karma parked on Young St. All of the original model emblems have been replaced by Batman logos. Even the rear "EVR" lettering has been changed to read "Batman For EVR" Interesting.....;>)
The Fisker has made several more appearances. The owner must live or work in the neighborhood. The roof top solar is very cool. I wonder if HECO is trying to make him go through their approval process....;>) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This car? There is a 2012 Fisker Kharma on the local Craigslist. The price is taking over the bank loan of $62K. The pictures are very small and look "generic".
Saw this beauty in front of Alan Wongs last night! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Since we're looking at plates... Didn't know the local dealer took these as trade-ins... (Note license plate frame)... Image Unavailable, Please Login
A friend sent me this picture. I am guessing that this is the car that has been in the Moiliili area for years. A gentleman that owned and lived in a small apartment building had several cars including a Honda S600 coupe and roadster in the parking lot, completely exposed. They were all turning to dust. He would come by the shop and talk and try to get me to work on the cars for free. I did get him some parts. I and others tried to buy the cars, but no luck. He was "going to fix them up some day". The roadster was moved to a garage several blocks away. The coupe remained outside. Even many years ago, it was rusted way beyond reclaiming. The father passed away and the son started coming by and the conversations continued in the same vein. I had a customer that made a serious attempt at buying the car, but was never able to close the deal. Within the last several months, the son came by the shop and said that the car (cars?) had been sold to a person on the Big Island. I don't know what happened to the rusted coupe. I wonder if the car is being towed to the docks for a trip on the barge to the Big Island. I wonder if they checked the oil in the differential and chain cases before towing it on the rear wheels. The only other S600 that I have seen in recent years (and it was years ago) was a white roadster that was rusting away, sunk into the dirt up to the rockers, on a side street near the Kailua Beach Buzz's Steak House. It is a shame. They are terrific little cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is the first time I have ever seen a S600! Moiliili has some interesting cars. There's a house that had a bunch of 911s sitting in the driveway along with a couple of Woodies, all rotting away.
Hi WPOZZZ It is a universal, recurring theme isn't it? "I am going to fix it up". The years go by and the car is beyond salvation. I had not heard about the 911's and the Woodies. Do you know what their final fate was? Had you ever heard of the 904? Years ago, one of the local Porsche gurus said that an elderly lady had a Porsche 904 in her yard that had belonged to her deceased son. When I asked for some more details, this person clammed up. I guess he thought I was going compete for the car. I was just curious, and incredulous!! A 904 did show up at one of the autocross events at Hawaii Raceway Park. I don't think it was the "backyard" car. The 904 had the Carrera engine in it and the people with the car could not get it to run well enough to make a single trip around the track. Aloha Larry
Larry, I haven't heard about the 904, but I'll take a spin to see what's with the Woodys and the Porsches. I remember one Porsche was gone about 7 months ago, but I'll take a spin by tomorrow. Maybe I'll ask Gerard if he heard about the 904. He still has his Kremer sitting in the shop along with a couple slantnoses. Bryan
There is a rather scruffy looking 2CV that I see regularly in Kakaako. I saw it yesterday morning. As I was walking back from the Post Office, a very nice, shiny, red 2CV pulled up to the stop light. I had never seen this car before. There was a couple in the car. I got their attention and said, "They are everywhere! This is the second 2CV that I've seen today" They didn't say anything, but had a good laugh....;>)
Black 430 cruising down Kuhio in Waikiki today. I am seeing lots of Fcars recently. How many are on the island? 20? 25? 30?
Guilty as charged. She was overdue for a wash so forgive me for driving it filthy dirty... but somehow I think she likes it that way 😉
