    not surprising...the track lost several of its high profile races as well as being somewhat inaccessible

    well they leased the land from the county, who thinks it's more valuable as a prison. what does that say about race tracks as money makers? :eek:

    When Larry Miller died it signaled the end for MMS. His sons didn't/do not have near the passion and business sense Larry did. One son killed himself in some way(likely embarrassing ie David Carradine) that was never publicized a few years ago. Larry would still be alive had he paid more attention to his illness.
    My wifes business took care of Larry toward the end of his days:(
