    hi Guys
I have found a seller on ebay (Ferrparts) that has the brackets I need for my 78 GT4's AC compressor. According to Maranello the upper bracket is part number 108050.

    Ferrparts have 2 brackets:
    Ferrari 308 Upper AC Compressor Bracket, # 111539 (120761513556 )
    Ferrari 328, 308, Mondial - AC Compressor Support Bracket # 108050 ( 121574904272 )

I cant see any difference at all aside the price, $87 or $225..

I cant find any reference to the 111539 on the classic parts website.

    Nick,

I'm not certain, but I believe both brackets (and numbers) were used ---- the difference depends on which A/C compressor your car has. Ferrari used at least 2 different units as OE on the 308/328.

There is a slight difference in clearance space under the main arm ---- you can see it if you look closely at the area I have circled in red. Thus, they are not quite interchangeable.

I'm fairly certain you want the 108050 bracket. It definitely goes with the Aspera compressor on the earlier cars --- Is that the compressor you have ?

BTW, I have an excellent condition used 108050 complete with the bushings and all mounting hardware (pulled of my '81) for sale if you need one at a better price than what you've got there.

Also, looks like one comes with the isolator bushings, and the other does not ---- and those bushings are not cheap.

My car is a 78 308 GT4, but I don't have the compressor yet, I am getting an Aprila "York" style from a 308 GTB.
I lost me compressor years ago, took it off to do the belts and now its gone :(

I have the bushes so not that fussed, do you know what (age) car the odd one came off?

Pretty sure you will want the 108050 then ---- used up until the 4-valve cars out.

As for GT4 vs. early (2-valve) 308 GTB/GTS all the A/C stuff is the same (except for the evaporator unit under the dash in the cabin, and some of the hoses).

    Hi David
I bought an under dash AC air duct and the bracket for $160 with free postage to the UK, for the $80 (£56) the bracket cost its worth a try. This bracket fits the US 4 valve engines i believe). How far can it be out? famous last words...
