don't drink too much "Lambrusco"... it is a mirror effect... exactly the same Ferruccio Lamborghini used at Turing show for the launch of his 350 GTV...

Isn't it still missing the thin line that runs over those mirrors or am I confusing this with another clone car?

Exactly, different mirrors were used when new.

The car now has many details which are no longer faithful to original. For example, the after-market wheel spacers put into the front end in Germany by the parson who purchased the car from Wolf are still in there! But, so far as the owner is happy.

I know there has been some discussion in the past regarding OEM cassette units in the Countach, I happened to see this unit on eBay this morning. no affiliation just passing it on.

    The 7273 was in the USA '86, '87, '88 and '88.5 cars.

A nice item to have to keep your car original.

Yesterday I met a old friend who worked as freelance seller at Lambo Motors Aesch and he confirmed my assumption.

Lamborghini SA was the Company of René Leimer, his Company was the swiss importer till the Mimran were allowed in 1982 to take over the factory officially (before the leased the factory) and founded Nuova Automobili Lamborghini. From then on Lamborghini SA was out of Business and Codeco the trading Company owned by the Mimrans took over.

    you meant 1981... not 1982 !

Nuova Ferruccio Lamborghini Automobili SpA was founded in 1981.

Records still have Countach delivered to Lamborghini SA in 1982, last one was : #112.1448...

Might be, perhaps they had to cancel the contracts which also takes some time... notice/cancellation period!

As a kid in the 70's I would walk past this it on a regular basis as it was owned by a guy who lived a few houses down from my parents. It was like nothing I had ever seen before and the sound was glorious.

I think I even remember the day it must have been sold or at least collected as I never saw it again after that. It left a real impression on both me and my brother. Good to hear it is still about and in the UK so maybe I will see it at some event in the future!

My dream car since as far back as I remember was the Countach.

My dad had one for a few years in Lebanon for around 2 years before things went south due to the Civil war. His was the second Countach in Lebanon, the first was a red or maroon one that belonged some general or something. my dad lost all his fortune due to inflation and had to sell about everything and live in debt for hte next 3 decades.

I was born in 1990 he sold the Countach in around 1984 or 1985. My older sister and brother were lucky enough to be born in time to see it. Being it was Lebanon and all, my dad used to drive the car with my brother on the center console and my sister in my mothers lap - Crazy I know...

Here are the photos I grew up looking at :) I used to beg my mom to show me the pics and negatives, she hid them from us. :D

I've made it my goal in life to buy my dad another Countach... at least a Lamborghini.. seeing the Countach is reaching half a million! I'll need a miracle to afford one.

Wow, that could be #1121008 (first and only LP400s officially delivered to Lebanon) or from the MI Plate more likely an export from Achili Motors.

Look at the door trims, the mirrors, the rims... this is not 1121008.

I htink this could be the other Countach in Lebanon mabe with time my dad forgot the colour?

    http://www.exoleb.com/wp-content/lamborghini/countach/lamborghini_countach_lebanon_mah86245.jpg

That is a Lebanese license plate, and on that forum a contractor mentions seeing that Countach at one of his client/customers house and mentions that it's been in Lebanon for a long time.

I'd like to know where my dads one is now. I think it could be in Kuwait or Dubai or something.
My dads is an LP5000s and he drove to Italy and bought it from there.
