Since they can't test in F1 anymore, they're experimenting with dividing the compressor from the impeller like Hamilton's car.

Why? Also, are they doing that for the benefit of road cars or f1?

A Cali T passed me yesterday on full chat when I was running down to the local Ferrari garage to pick up my SCUD after the winter, I like the look but the sound was Sooooo disappointing

My dealer's demo Cali T has a special "press map" for the sound (the ignition is harder, and some trickery with the valves) as the result of a request from a somewhat famous (now cancelled) TV show that wanted more sound when they used the car... It crackles and bangs a lot more than a standard Cali T, but the shift pop is still the most enticing sound feature.

in a german forum there is talk about turbo issues with the 488 and production delay until at least the end of september. apparently many orders have been cancelled so far. my dealer has not yet been able to confirm the delay so i have no way of verifying this, please take it with a grain of salt.

As posted earlier, my dealer says their first customer car slot is in October. They will receive a demo car on loan in August.

360 CS is amazing when it pulls the same time as a Scud.

Doesn't seem possible, even at a short track like Fiorano. CS is 17 seconds slower at Nurburgring than Scud.

Odd data as even Ferrari has said the Scud is faster than the Enzo at Fiorano, but this list shows the Enzo as substantially faster.

    Ah here we go:

Fiorano Circuit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Scud is 3 seconds faster than CS at Fiorano. 1:25 vs 1:28.
