550 Maranello

I am looking for a 550 to drive an enjoy, not hide away in the garage. A blue car would be ideal, but I am flexible on color for the right car.

Hope you have found your 550 by now. The light bulb has finally gone off and enthusiasts are now realizing what a special car this is. There will likely never be another Ferrari produced that has the "old school" vibe and feel you get with a 550. You'll never regret owning one if you love fast, smooth and shifting gears!

Does seem a bit cheap, may be due to the fact it is listed as having 87K miles on it, at least it is not a garage queen. Sure would like to see some interior shots.

I am just starting to get serious about my search for a 550 and I was wondering about higher mileage cars. Bob Wallace once told me that the engine in the Miura was a 30K mile engine, needed rebuilding every 30K miles. Are the engines in the 550 similar where they should be rebuilt every "X" number of miles or are they not so highly tuned and their life depends more on how they are driven?
Regarding the car I am looking for, my first choice would be a silver car, black and red are my least favorites. I'm looking for a quality driver car, not a concours garage queen.
