I agree with both: It has gotten wild.

However, the most telling of problems that makes this continue is his business model, touting, and those that support him [as Brian mentions that is still open].

The fact he is about to play Robin Hood does nothing to address anything: just a new line of business IMO.

We may be 'haters' but instead of proving us wrong he just posts non-sense to moderators if not web owners.

Perhaps difficult to point to an external audit and protect his business, but his approach is to up the ante: Why should he give us facts? Because at this time he has little choice.

My problem of this overnight trader [skipping the outlandish returns issue] is why, truly, does one start several similar businesses all with the same business model but under different URLs not to mention different working Home pages with tabs and all having ways to collect money via [now closed by the FBI] web sites?

Typically a valid business that has similar business such as ebay, Amazon, Nike and the like buy up the related URL chatter and point it to their home/main business site [someone should have informed 'tech savvy' Carly Fiorina that]

One does not start a whole, similar, business competition and somehow indicate no relation to the 'home' and yet engage them in business.

Perhaps letting them get fleeced is karma. He needs to support the extraordinary claims with extraordinary [substantiated/verified] facts.

I'll be the first to apologize if proven wrong. However, I'll bet that may never be the case.

That is why it has fuel....oh, ya', an kitties are always welcomed.

Is his site back up? Has he fixed the issues? I wonder if anyone with a real account can log in and see where their money is. This is some scary stuff.

The simple fact that trust, integrity, credibility, and reliability are all integral to personal and professional relationships. You live or die on the net by your own words -- and they are forever.

The fact that some scammers can threaten legal action or otherwise intimidate you into removing unflattering material is just another fact of daily life.

I vote that you only remove content when it becomes legally necessary (copyright, trademark, defamation, legal judgment) or is offensive to the community. Otherwise it is a guidepost for those of us seeking honest dealers and fairly-described goods and services.

I have a friend who is a very successful fee only financial planner.

    Tom's advice to me:

Anytime the lotto jackpot goes over 100 million purchase a ticket for one dollar.

If you win it is a really good return on your investment.

I've used his strategy for years, very little downside risk.

Late to the party, but read the WHOLE thing. My $.02.

I truly feel sorry for the people that have given him money. They've spoken to him, they've visited his house, and he's a great guy. Of course he is, con artists are very adept at making you trust them. Not ONE of them has mentioned that they got their money back, though they should be able to 'next week'. Classic delay tactics. GET YOUR MONEY NOW! Your trust is how he makes money. Smarter people than you fell for Bernie Madoff's scam, and it was essentially the same but Bernie was way more successful. These people are confusing the illusion of success with trustworthiness. They're not related.

I LOL'd at his veiled threats to Rob. He obviously doesn't understand how things work in Texas. And though there's a ;) in that statement, it's not as much of one as you think. What a tool. Be afraid Rob, and army of mad college dropouts are going to invade! I'm truly amazed that he actually called your local police trying to legitimize the threat. I hope they got a good laugh out of the time they wasted.

    Funny!

The reality is that the odds of winning the Powerball are 1:175,223,510

So to be accurate, you would need the after tax take home to be north of $175,223.510.00 for your $1 ticket to be worth more than just $1. And that's actually assuming that there can only be one winner, which we all know isn't the case :)

Other food for thought...to put the odds in perspective, image you had one penny for each of the possible combinations of numbers. If lined up penny by penny, the line of coins would stretch for 2074.14 miles. Now imagine driving that far and stopping on the side of the road to pick up the winning penny!

Posted today... Wife and daughters name removed. See link for unedited version.

    Capital Trust Markets - CapitalTrustMarkets.com - Possible Scam Alert - Page 5

Reza Moktarian, owner of Capital Trust Markets still has not honored his clients' fund withdrawal requests. Not even the deposits (not to mention profits).

He and CTM does not even respond to client inquiries. Obviously, Mr. Reza Mokhtarian has chosen the path of a despised, hated, low-life, scumbag thief.

It is very unfortunate that an Iranian immigrant robs the citizens of his accepting country, which had given shelter to him and his family. It is more unfortunate his actions will make people distrust other honest Iranian people.

Mr. Mokhtarian is a SHAME of Iran, and all Persian people.

I am sure his daughter (REDACTED), and his wife (REDACTED) will be very proud of 'daddy' who has become a white collar criminal who puts the bread on the dinner table bought from STOLEN MONEY earned by the blood and sweat of other hard-working people: HIS VICTIMS.

P.S. Open message to Mr. Mokhtarian, Shame of all Persians: Not only (REDACTED),but all her elementary school, high school and college classmates will be informed that her father is a low-life thief who pays her daughter's schooling from stolen money. And it will be all over social media even before she goes to kindergarten. And it is not an empty promise, like yours...

    Wow.
I just finished reading the entire thread non-stop.
I remember the original thread and I read all the stuff on the FPA site.

    REZ,
YOU ARE AS TRANSPARENT AS GLASS.
EVERYONE KNOWS THE TRUTH EXCEPT YOU.

You keep walking into this site and stirring up trouble and it keeps backfiring on you because you are not telling the truth, about anything, to anybody , OR YOURSELF.
    YOU LOSE.

    ..

(This has to be one of the most interesting threads I have read on Fchat in a very long while..)

You owe me one Powerball ticket!

I actually just realized there is a flaw. Powerball tickets now cost $2 instead of $1, so the after tax take home has to be 2x the stated amount.

Maybe my poor math skillz, but if my after tax take home was $175M, my $1 would be worth $175M. Significantly more than a $1. Assuming I'm the only winner.

The idea is that if the net take is north of the $175M, then each ticket bought before the drawing has an implied value of higher than $1.

But again, the math doesn't quite work out that way since there can be multiple winners.

I like where this thread is going...

I can see how it would be more likely to get a return on a lottery investment then getting any investment back from Mr. Mokhtarian.
