Indeed! I owned a couple of 355s "in period" and have to confess to doing many unnecessary runs through tunnels!
1. 355 2. CS 3. Scud IMHO. But I think the Sline exhaust on the scud sounds better than all of those honestly.
"angriest" is a great way to put it. i tend to say the CS is violent, but maybe that's just when i'm behind the wheel haha. agree, F355 is a very close 2nd - love that wail. yeh but if you're going to throw in sline into the mix lol then i'll toss in exhaust note from say 333SP, FXX, 599XX and 458C. out of box those sound delicious. ha!
Like trying to compare and contrast hot women; there are only winners ; ) But yah, exhaust note can be dramatically changed for the good or bad depending on various parts of the system. In general, smaller v8s always sound sweeter to me as long as they rev high and fast.
I agree with your 1,2,3 order Still miss my 355....until I get in the Scud. Down shifts with the exhaust valves open are intoxicating. Tried to get Stokpro to get an exhaust valve controller for more music, but he's a purist.
