That's correct. I have no idea what kind of paint was on there before but I paid as much to get it off the wheels as I paid to get them painted but they came out perfectly. Thanks for making that happen for monterey.

Just looking at the picture above, I have a question for 348 CH owners: were the brakes upgrated or just standard ? in the picture they look like standard.

Standard rotors and calipers, but with race pads and ducting, if I remember correctly.
My car now has big F-40 Brembos, but is otherwise as-raced back in the day.

Since I upgraded my F40 to LM brakes, I am thinking of putting the stock F40 brakes on the 348. That would be a pretty straight job, right?

Although I don't think that the car needs brakes or anything else. It's very well balanced.

Was thinking of an upgrade myself but the added weight of bigger rotors may null it out

This is my second 348 Challenge car (owned #94285 for a number of years), and I find that this one, with the bigger rotors and calipers, is less prone to heating up the fluid, but I defer to you on whether the cost and weight are a fair trade-off.

I've never had brake fade on any of the mountain roads I drive so it's probably not worth it to me. I was only thinking about it after you mentioned because I have my stock F40 brakes in a box in the basement. I figured with some lightweight rotors, it might be a good way to get some use out of them. But again, since I have no problem with the stock brakes, it would be pointless. Thanks again.
