    I really liked the way I was able to set the ride height and corner weight by using the QA1 adjustable shocks. They really are a good value for the money. Many people here have had good results.

    Looks like your shock's rubber eyelets are shot, at least from the side. I was really surprised how much lift my car got with new shock bushings. Could just be that.

    Reinstalled shock with new 16 inch wheels and tires and slightly different stance but not as bad.
    Superformance sells up graded shock absorber bush sets. I will order some and see if that gives proper height restoration.

    The metal sleeve should be right in the center. See the rubber mushrooming out at the top? That's with no load. Imagine 1/3 of the weight of the car squeezing the metal tube to the center of the shock also. It is probably more than a 1/4" squish and then I'm sure the other end matches, so there's 1/2". That might be completely responsible for your squat.

    The car looks good with 16's!
