You know it! I am planning on sending you a video. Oh & yes, that is a FabSpeed front plate mount. I promised my local law enforcement my Strad would wear it ~ for a while  This is numbered by Michelotti as 004 M.
I have been sniffing at N-GTs for a while. I almost had one with LeMans history, but chickened out, as it was on the other side of the planet.
Might have been this one. This is a recent purchase, LeMans history ~ from Germany. I cant tell you how nice it is without you personally seeing it (too hard to believe). It was a mind blowing experience to check it out from front to back once it arrived. Super well represented. Fantastic seller. Car was better than described. I am nearly afraid to drive it!! (nah / not really I can manage )
The car I was looking at was in Australia, and went to Austria to 308 Vetro. An N-GT would be an exciting car to have, for sure.
gurus! came across an abandoned CS recently and I had 2 questions, see attached picture 1. why does this car has another grille on top of the OEM grille??? 2. what is this wire going through the dipstick cap?? This isn't OEM is it? what purpose does it serve? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
YES! IT WAS ABANDONED! exposed to full elements of nature! somebody take a guess why the extra grille and the wire??????
The extra screen was probably because the car was being tracked and keeps the smaller debris out of the radiator. The wire on the cap was to make sure it did not come loose. The engine vibration reportedly caused several caps to come unscrewed and Ferrari offered this locking pin (wire) This car needs a lot of TLC. But still a Stradale.
forgive me, what is TLC rusts , see attached how much is it worth realistically?[/QUOTE] Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I do, but for security reasons and by the request of the steward, I cannot post too much until I acquired ownership
I added a 5 pt harness to my CS back in 2005 - sorry, will have to look for pics Also have them in my Scud - gives some peace of mind on the track
China. I do not know where it was originated. its LHD. All I know is that the car isn't registered. I had a hard time put a price on the car.
Exactly! Does it run or even start? Miles? Condition other than being filthy? Without more information it's difficult to give you a valuation. I recommend starting with a low offer. Whatever the price, it'll likely be less expensive then you converting a 360M to a CS.
No! it does not run because battery was dead. And No, i do not know how many miles on the car. Interesting thing is: Ferrari china has located no service record whatsoever on the car yet the car looks like having the original battery(or im mistaken?) As other fchatter pointed out, judging from the omnipresent chips on the front bumper and the dipstick wire, the car has been tracked. I hope I can post all pictures I got from the car but unfortunately I am not in a position to do that before i had the ownership. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh my eyes!!! #___# !&$@ ouch! Can't believe a CS has been treated this way. Looks like the owner enjoyed the hell out of it and left it for dead... Haha def needs some TLC. Let us know how it works out.
Interesting that this thread reached its namesake number of pages(somebody's grunting) Wish me good luck, I am going to offer US $105,000 for the car tomororw if it runs. Before starting the car, i'll have to check all fluids and at least replace the engine oil and clean the rust on the timing pully and rotate it manually to make sure it won't jump tooth or something. let's see if it fires up.
I would actually come in lower in price. Since no CS' were officially brought to China, I would also make sure that it has been legally imported and all paper work is in order. I would bet the Chinese government is fairly strict about imports. Perhaps it was abandoned because the owner didn't want to get caught.
