Apparently there was gold chrome Audi R8 at the Southpark Mall today. Anybody seen that one around before? Up here in Raleigh, saw some sort of white Alfa Romeo Spider on Wade Ave in front of Whole Foods today, at about 5:45.
Saw a dark blue Maserati GranTurismo Sport at Whole Foods Cary today at about 11:30. Hadn't seen this one before.
Went to check on my car @ Terry's (Raleigh) and this was in for service...have never seen this color before. Rosso Dino? It was very orange. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw a few Ferraris at the Pinehurst Concours d'Elegance this past weekend... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw a white California T pull into Phillips Place today at about 1:00. I was about to leave the plaza but turned around to try to snap a pic, and then couldn't find where it was parked :/
Saturday black ff heading down New town on towards Marvin also Orange Lotus whatever the new car is called on Providence and Rea Rd. Saturday
man - for a second there, I thought it was my old car. had heard about another 308 with boxer trim in this area - that must be the one.
the 308 with the boxer with the unusual color is very cool... Greg I think you might know the owner. Hope to see you soon, missed you at the Pinehurst event.
I believe that the individual who owns the Rosso Dino 308 lives here in Fayetteville. I havent seen the car in person, but we have talked about it when I met him on a couple of occasions. PDG
Saw a red California T at Philips Place last Friday. After seeing a few T's in person I really like the new redesign. Saw a red Alfa Romeo 4C on Johnston Road on Tuesday. First one I've seen. Good looking car.
Saturday, May 18th: Quite a few cool cars showed up to Cars & Coffee. Big turnout. Taggart Autosport brought their 911 GT3R race car. White GT-R headed North on Creedmoor under 540 at around 12:30. Silver FF headed South in the exact same location at 5:15.
The silver FF was me. I couldn't make it to Cars and Coffee this weekend because I took my P1 to VIR that morning. Here's a picture... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Awesome picture Mark. I would love to be able to make it to VIR one of these days and shoot some of you guys' cars, but it's a bit of a drive for me and there's absolutely no relatives or anyone else I know in the area to visit, so I don't really have the chance. One of these days though... Coupe of recent notable sightings include: Friday, May 15th, in Charlotte: -White Ferrari California T and Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Series II at the Palm Restaurant in Southpark at 8:45. Same Cali T that I saw the previous Sunday, but I managed to get a few pictures this time. -Across the plaza, blue C7 Corvette Z06 Convertible at Dean & Deluca. -Down the road, silver Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT Roadster in the valet at one of the restaurants at the Piedmont Town Center. First GT I'd seen so I thought it was worth a mention. Also saw several Bentleys, Maseratis, Porsches, and Rolls Royces in Southpark throughout the week, but nothing out of the ordinary. Yesterday, Monday (5/18): Silver California near the new Outlet Mall off 485 and Yellow 360 Modena on Carmel Road.
There's no point buying one if you're not going to experience at least some small percentage of what it can do and to do that safely you absolutely need to be on a proper race track. It is insanely fast!
Today, in Raleigh, saw a freaking Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe on S. Saunders St near the Montlawn Memorial Park at about 5:50 pm or so. It was white and was rolling on some rather tacky wheels (or rims, as they say now), but I'd never seen a Phantom Coupe in person before so I was pretty surprised. No pics though, I was heading south in traffic and it was going in the opposite direction. Not much else of note out lately except a couple of black GranCabrios and a red Slingshot.
