Anybody going to Monaco

We will be staying in Monaco until after the GP Tues/Weds next week - just wondered how many of you will be here to cheer the Scuderia?

 

In my dreams.

 

Have fun. been twice before ... that is enough for me.

Monaco - a sunny place filled with shady people!

 

plan on some day trips after the race. that place becomes a ghost town after the circus leaves town. like the day after having a party. wish i could be there. maybe next year.

 

I was supposed to go but I'm home recovering from a couple of hernia repairs instead. 😔 Have fun!

On the Monday night after the GP is the best day to drive around the F1 circuit. GP directions still in place and much less police ;-)

 

I couldn't get my brother to pay for me ....got close tho ...

 

For those of you who have gone before, I'm morbidly curious what an 'average' attendee can expect to spend. I know this can vary to a massive degree, so I'm not really asking about how to do it on the cheap, nor how to break the bank, but a typical experience at the Monaco GP. I've always heard it's insanely costly, but I've always wondered how it stacked up against other GPs.

Edit: And yeah, "if you gotta ask..."

 

Actually I did not find the prices that much more jacked up but I either stayed at a friends apartment or stayed I. Cannes
Lunch dinner is about nyc prices if you go to Louis vx then it's about $1000 per person wine can cost mor

 

in 2006 we did a package that included events with driver, engineer, etc.
5 days at the fairmont, 3 day tix. all for approx $18k
dinner at louis the xv not included, that was on our own "dime"

If you stay in a hotel in Nice, it won't be more expensive than any other gran prix.
