As the title says I'm in the market for a 430, not sure if I want a coupe or spider. I currently have an 02 Modena, so maybe a spider to change things up a bit. I think a 2006-2007 is probably in my price range. I've been checking the Tx dealers and the typical autotrader and eBay. I'd prefer to find a local car. If you have a lead PM me please.

NO silver/greys please. My last four sports cars have been some variation of those colors and I need something different! Maybe even a rosso corsa :)

    Thanks!!

    Bob

I'll keep my eye out. Are you planning on selling your 360 to trade up or keeping that too?

Bob, you might ping Kelly about your 360. Since he sold his TR he's in the market for a 360. He wants to get into a new house first, but I know he wants to come back into the fold. Not sure if he's married to Rosso or not, but it never hurts to ask.

For a just bit more get a 430 Scud.
There is a really nice low mile Black one at Lambo Dallas that someone has "improved" with a mega buck stereo/nav. That can be un-fixed fairly easily or leave as is, pump out Rap at the cars shows, and everyone will remember you. Dont forget the gold chains. ;)

Selling at a discount because of the improvements.
If I were in the market for a 430 this would be the car.

Finding something locally in my price range is proving challenging although FOH has one bring prepared for sale that might be a possibility. There are two in the Austin area, neither of which are viable candidates. What's the saying: patience will be rewarded...

It's not local but Ferrari of Denver has my 430 I traded in. Red tan very very clean it's a fantastic car. The only reason I traded it in is Derek was able to get me a 458 allocation and I have a new one coming. It has CPO warranty as well. If at all interested call Derek at Ferrari of Denver he can help. He's active in Rocky mnt section. Good luck with search

This is a really good point , Bob, when you find the car you want, you should know that you can add a year-by-year warranty backed by Ferrari, regardless of where you purchased the car from!

    Good Luck with your search!

Your welcome, I just wanted to let you know as I looked a long time to find my 430, and that one is a super clean one, with a lot of history. I also put new tires on it when I bought it last fall, and they have less than a thousand miles on them. I love the color of you 360, I ordered my 458 in Grigio Titanio. Again, good luck with the search, that is at least half the fun for me!

Heh... A couple of Grigio 430 siders at FOD. I hate to admit it, but I'm really digging that Grigio/Rosso. Probably *way* more flash from the interior than you're looking for, Bob, but it really makes a pretty statement. ;)

If only you weren't set on a Spider... the one with Bordeaux is slightly more understated:

Not sure why I'm gravitating to the flashier interiors these days. I blame it on Dr. Wynter's 355:

Those interiors do POP! I would like the black inserts on the daytona's but not on rosso, maybe Bordeaux. FOA had a Silverstone with the Bordeaux in the showroom forever, I thought it was a nice combination, just wasn't in the market for a 430 at the time, and...

My garage will cough up a gigantic hairball if I bring another silver/gray car home. Rosso, Black or JoAnn wants TDF.

Well, here's an update in the search for a local 430...

FoH has a nice 06 TDF/tan coupe with 17k, miles new clutch, tires, brakes, just been de-stickied and supposedly a 1 year warranty. This one's in the running as I've decided against rosso - just not a red guy. (Drove an 07 red spider at FofSA yesterday, not for me, like the lines of the coupe better and the wife has a boxster if we want a top down ride)

Option 2: I'm flying out Tuesday morning to look at another coupe at Ft. Lauderdale Ferrari.
This one has 11k miles and...it's an 08 rather than an 06. I know i said that i didn't want anything to do with any shades of gray/silver. Well, never say never, huh. The 08 is silverstone over black. Hassle of shipping I guess or drive it back?

Here's the kicker: the 06 and 08 are both the same price. What would you do???

I'd do the TDF/tan personally. I dislike black interiors.

I'll volunteer to be your copilot if you decide to drive it home! ;)

Update: Well the trip to ft lauderdale didn't pan out. Car was ok but had some cosmetic issues. Sorry jimpo no ride back just yet :)

Hopefully a look see at the TDF in Houston this weekend or a similar TDF on the west coast will fair better.

FoSA has a beautiful 08 Rosso with 1700 mikes. But I'd want to drive the heck out of it...

Saw a cheap one ($99k) with 45k miles in Wichita on Craigslist. Looked like a good car except for the caveat:

You can afford a 430, but can't afford to change some fluids?
