It starts to grow on me. That shifting looks fun. The shifting sounded pretty cool. Sound recording is not good so ill still hold my final judgement until seen and driven.
Maybe not that important to some in the scheme of things, but with the twin scallops in the front bonnet, is the front cargo space seriously compromised? The Ford GT with the front panel open looks like it can hold a lot, but once you close it, the scoop takes up most of the room, so traveling anywhere needing luggage is a problem. Not so in the 360/430/458, but it looks like the front cargo space in the 488 may be compromised in a way similar, though not as greatly, to that of the Ford GT.
I find the trunk in my 458 fits an incredible amount of gear, certainly enough for a week of hotels and activities on the road. Also fits tons of Christmas presents and groceries!
Yes, the front cargo bays of the 458, as well as the 360 and 430, are large and useful, but I haven't seen any pics or description of the 488's trunk space. It looks like the hood scoops intrude.
The exhaust was in Italian. Can somebody please translate for me? Is there an app for this? I had a Tubi on my F355 and 360. I could understand them right away.
