not sure what they can sue him for. All he was doing was stating the facts of the transaction. If he was honest in his depiction, millers lawyers are solely trying to shut him up. They have no case.

a 2010 458 for high 100s/low 200s has to be the best bang for the buck in all of carland - anyone disagree?

when you are done suing miller, maybe you should call your wife's high school boyfriend and ask for her virginity back....

    how do you really feel??
    have you been sued before?
maybe we should talk about this? like in a safe place? ya know like frank the tank:

"Therapist: Frank, this is a safe place. A place where we can feel free sharing our feelings. Think of my office as a nest in a tree of trust and understanding. We can say anything here.
Frank: Anything? Well, uh I guess I, deep down, am feeling a little confused. I mean, suddenly, you get married, and you're supposed to be this entirely different guy. I don't feel different. I mean, take yesterday for example. We were out at the Olive Garden for dinner, which was lovely. And uh, I happen to look over at a certain point during the meal and see a waitress taking an order, and I found myself wondering what color her underpants might be. Her panties. Uh, odds are they are probably basic white, cotton, underpants.
But I sort of think well maybe they're silk panties, maybe it's a thong. Maybe it's something really cool that I don't even know about. You know, and uh, and I started feeling... what? what I thought we were in the trust tree in the nest, were we not?"

I think you are one of those people who have debased ferrari. You bought mutiple cars in rleatively short epriod of time, know littke about them and trade up. You sir are a fashionista, not a driver or someone who really appreciates what they have.

You ar ebuying abrand for status and apprently profit. These used to be cars for enthusiasts who loved and appreciated what they are. If you had somehting rare and great why did you sell it, to you it was metal, just a car with a status badge thta made great fake sounds or maybe to be fair to you as a driver as per reputation a 599 stick is a pretty lousy stick so not that great.

You know how many call I got in the last year to sell my boxer, each buyer thinks I dont know what ti is, or what its worth, thats how they hope to make a profit.

now maybe you think a dealer with a "reationship" should not be abusing their customers comfodence, and you are right, course no one knew the auction price, and whoever paid those prices are suckers too..
But then if you are buying multiple ferraris to have a relationship just so you can maybe one day order a new one drive for a a year and flip, I have no sympathy. Customers like you, who feed dealers is the reason why owning a ferrari is a negative stigma and why dealers and ferrari have become Dbags selling automotive rolexes to suckers. Its the reason serious car people are abandoning ferrari and shopping elsewhere.

Dr Sir, can you kindly PM me the name of your attorney, as I need some legal representation. After thinking this all over I think I am going to sue my brokerage firm for allowing me to sell my 200,000 shares of Netflix stock at $20. I heard that same brokerage firm was recently involved in another transaction involving the same NFLX stock trading a over $600. I was a good customer, I traded often thru them. At the time of the sale they did not bother to let me know what a rare and scarce asset streaming movies over the internet is and would be.

You do realize that your attorney will likely be vacationing over the holidays at some nice warn resort with his wife and kids, enjoying several nice fruity cocktails with umbrellas in them. By probably the third or forth drink he will no longer be able to contain himself, and will likely be bragging to complete strangers at the bar that his entire family Christmas vacation has been paid for in legal fees by some ridiculous case involving a guy that sold a Ferrari......

Do yourself a favor, grow a sack, man up, call Miller and apologize .

And most importantly, next time for God’s sake buy a dam prius.

    This thread is hilarious.

    1. The entire internet was shocked by that $600K 599 sale and the majority of it called the guy a moron with more money than sense.

    2. You made like $30K on the sale.

I wonder what this guy does for a living. He obviously cant do anything that requires too much mental computing power. I am guessing either dentist, massage therapist, nail salon owner, hot dog vendor, decorator, or high school gym teacher. Or maybe just part of the lucky sperm club.

If the car at auction sold for less than you sold your car to miller for, would you feel you cheated miller? Of course not you made a fair deal based on the market at the time. I am sure they feel the same way

Legal question for Miller: if a guy "talks trash" about you on ferrarichat, and gets 160+ responses ridiculing him, what are your damages?

I don't feel sorry for the OP, either, and I've heard nothing but good things about Miller, but I also think suing the OP is a chicken thing to do. I would have been more impressed if Miller had posted here. Yes, the OP was the first to involve lawyers ... but the OP is hopelessly naive IMO.

used to think Miller had a great reputation

but lowering themselves to the level of this guy and suing him…

    they deserve each other.

they are apparently suing for damage to their reputation…

when Miller suing him is what damaged their (own) reputation to me.

    the irony kills me…

I doubt they are suing for damages. They probably just want him to get rid of the domain and quit bashing them for no reason.

He posted on Yelp as well, and probably anywhere else he could. If you own a business, the last thing you want are BS negative reviews about you everywhere.

Are there really just 20 manual 599's in the US? Was't that debunked? Carbie?

Are they all now worth 1/2 million dollars? :p

Oh very serious! In fact I think not only should Ferrari have to tell me the 5, 10 and 15 year value of an F12.... They should sell it to me NOW for whichever value I pick! 😬

    The manual 599 is 1/whogivesa****.

OP should count his blessings he made $30K on the car considering the fact that a year earlier he would have been down 15-20K on the car.

Wow. I thought he had learned his lesson but no. Still thinks he is a victim.

I hope Miller has fun with you.

Here is a fact : they didn't participate in the auction in any other way than having a car for sale there.
So what if they knew there was another manual 599 for sale? Thousands of people knew as RM made it public weeks in advance. Does that mean they knew the car would sell for 250? 300? 600? No. No one knew then.

You bought a rare car and never bother finding out how rare it was. Yes Your loss was a 30k profit
. Stop *****ing about it and go enjoy your 30k.

I'm not a fan of suing period. But, In Millers defense I can't blame them for sticking up for themselves. They did nothing wrong to be victim of slander and cyber bullying. When you mess with the bull you just might get the horns.
