anyone know if the 360 mirrors will fit on a 355? Rtuned has some carbon ones I might be interested in, for the 360 of course.

I was too interested on those I was told no. Since that I plasidipped the mirrors. Nothing like the carbon mirrors though.

    Ummm, just curious, but why?

The mirrors on the 355 haven't been bettered yet.

What is the weight savings with the carbon mirrors?

    I would paint them still...

Anyone ever converted their 355 mirrors to a motorised fold away system?

Would be a great add on...those berutiful mirrors are large and verrry expensive...they need to be folded for protection

There was one pic in the modified 355s thread. I'd get it if I could. They were about a grand.

    About what I figured.

Seems tacky to just slap carbon all over the place with it serving no real purpose IMO.

How hard is it to fold the standard 355 mirrors by hand?

It's just a matter of preference...some of us prefer the look and it also complements the Imola CF lip and CF Challenge wing rather well (if someone has that setup).

You would have to say that about all cars made over the past 10 years
You would have to say that about electric windows
You would have to say that about electric adjustable mirrors in the door

    Not helpful Phil

    How's the car running?

    Resurrecting this thread:
Using a set of aftermarket (racing) CF side view mirrors would mean you could remove the wiring associated with the electric adjustment control knob and motors, no? This should save a decent amount of weight and reduce weight that is "hanging" off the car (ie...outside the wheels). I am currently searching for some that will look right on my F355. If anyone has seen any universal ones that look "right" on a 355 I would love to see a picture. I am leaning towards a squared off style mirror with rounded rather than sharp corners.

17 months on from My post and 355 owners are still struggling to fold their mirrors by hand? - I guess 348 owners must be made of sterner stuff!
