I recommed a 3.2 because it is the most fully developed of type has actual power yet does not need engine out to replace water pump as is apparently the case with the T. I am now going on 11,000 miles in two years with my 1986 coupe. Its not for sale but I would hold out for one if I needed a replacement.

The only 3.2 Coupe or t Coupe that I've seen lately is this red/black one in Canada, but the ad doesn't jive ('89 3.2?).

DDD: I think you'll find something that meets your spec., but you will likely have to be patient (particularly with regard to a 't' coupe).

I like your choice of a coupe. These cars are noticeably stiffer in the chassis department. I had a delightful drive on some rural back roads in mine today.

IMO don't overlook a QV. I consider their lack of ABS and power steering to be huge advantages. It is more 'raw' with less to go wrong. Compared with the 3.2, the Bosch injection on the QV is K-jet without Lambda -- i.e. it has no O2 sensor to monitor fuel-air ratio in the exhaust -- something you might consider advantageous from the standpoint of simplicity.

I am patient as it has to be the right one and it is a long term proposition. Just at times it is frustrating especially when I was too late on a couple of cars. Thanks for the encouragement it is needed. Plus every ones help keeps me going!! Grazie

QV coupe on Long Island. Rossa/Crema from the look of it. 28000 miles, $28000. Looks better than average from the photos.

I'll unload my QV, but it won't be cheap.

If you can find another 83 QV all original with less than 12,000 miles.......buy it.

    (and same owner since 1994; it's 2nd)

I stopped my search a couple of weeks ago when we decided to buy/purchase another house. But a quick look around seams far fewer cars for sale at the moment, which kinda makes sense now that spring is past.
