There is a T on eBay right now that's in pieces. Might be worth a look.

I am a sucker for these kinds of deals. So tempting to revive a "basket case" and this one looks to be fairly straightforward. That said, I will resist the urge to buy this one

Broker may have lead cant believe they get to some before the power of FChatters.

 

Watch out for projects. Not only Ferrari but anything you stand and look at and say "Well I can fix this for x number of dollars and that for a couple more" and suddenly you are a few thousand into it. Ferrari's do seem to be better than most because if you make the wrong choice it seems they are worth more in pieces than whole sometimes. Good luck with your search.

No connection to the owner or the car. I know nothing about the car although I think I've seen it a couple of times being driven in my neighborhood - the listing suggests it's about three blocks away from my home. 1988 Ferrari Mondial I note that it has BC collector plates for which there is a fairly stringent application process (extensive photos) demonstrating that the car is stock and in generally good condition, i.e., decent paint, no unrepaired dents, no extensive rust, no torn upholstery, etc.. Some owners will run after-market wheels after the car is qualified for collector status using the stock wheels. But the steering wheel doesn't look stock and I think that typically would disqualify the car for collector status unless it was a period correct modification - might be something to ask about. Collector vehicles Not many blue Mondials or 308/ 328 - I'm "with you" for blue Jon (blu sera 328)

 

No connection to the car or the seller / dealer. I don't recall seeing this one on the street or for sale in Vancouver previously. I don't know anything about the seller and have never been to their shop, even though I drive past it fairly often. I believe they import some cars from the US and also sell some on consignment, e.g., they had a 330GT 2+2 and a Maser 3500 Touring for sale about a year ago - both known cars that have been in Vancouver for some time.
