I stated nothing other than LH and Mercedes agree'd they should stop his car and then told
Im 'you people'. So much for that eh. I dont care whether Jesus wins the parade of tax dodgers but Toil is simply pathetic LH fan or not.

Totto Wolff said on an interview that one of the main reasons that brought in LH was that they assumed that Ferrari would also go in and change to Super Softs.

The problem with Hamilton is that the teams always feel the nedd to lie for him and cover his crap (hence the name crapilton;))...it's always been like this, it's the same story we saw with Trulli in Australia all over again..someone else must take blame....like Alonso, but you see Kimi admit he was crap, or Seb admiting he screwd the team an apologising for it, it's this sort of atitude that gives f.1 fans amunution against hamilton because at the moment there is nothing wrong with his driving, but let's face it, he is one big prima dona, he earns zillions, has got the best car, the perference of the team, and when he manages to screw up and lose a race that was in the bag he still palys like the ofended virgin!!! up yours crybabay....if this was moto gp everyone would be laughing at his face....

I find the post above quite offensive and abusive in a completely irrational way. What is it with the pro and anti Ham camps that every discussion has descend into extremism? It's poor taste and very off putting.

How many stupid versions of this are we going to get?
How about we stop with the Hamilton's decision, team miscalculation, no gps, VSC, SC, and whatever else is out there.
Fact 1: gap was 19.7 sec
Fact 2: pit delta is 20 sec
Fact 3: if gap is less then pit delta you can't pit and retain the lead
Fact 4: Hamilton can give feedback about tires but he doesn't see the gap or what the other drivers are doing
Fact 5: the team is there to make a final decision with the information that they have in front of them

It doesn't matter what the driver thinks. 20 will always be greater than 19.7. I'm 6k miles away on my sofa. I can see from here that you can't pit with 19.7 sec and retain the lead.
Only logical explanation is that Mercedes was reacting to a possible Vettel pit. They don't care which of the two drivers wins. Best case scenario is a 1-2. Worst case is a 1-3.
On the other hand, you leave both Lewis and Nico on old tires Vettel gets fresh SS tires and possibly passes both for the win.

I'm sure he did based on the Virtual safety car rules.

So why did Nico stay out ? They had the 3 seconds to swap Hami's tires then Nico's too within the 20 second gap.

    Show of hands;
Who here said "WTF !?!?" as Hami was rolling down pit in road for the swap ?
You know... before the announcers made it blatantly obvious ( AFTER the stop when Hami rejoined ) ?

Even with VSC rules the gap was not there.

At race speed the delta is said to be 20 seconds. That was the gap.
During a yellow it would be more.
    It would have been close.

A stupid gamble considering its Monaco where position > tires.

+1 all day. They had position and thats all that matters on the harbor. Its beyond me how that reality was lost on the team. Even the press are working that fact - overtime lol!

It is funny, not long ago you were making jokes about Rosberg not knowing what was going on around him but now as it happens to your Messiah it is certainly a complete different story ;)
