Pretty eventful day today for car sightings. -Campagna T-Rex in the Ballantyne Area. Never seen one before. Really cool vehicle. -New Z06 at Phillips Place near SouthPark Mall. Been seeing a few of these around. Pretty sharp looking car. Saw an awesome four car lineup at SouthPark Mall's Valet: -Rolls Royce Ghost -Lamborghini Gallardo Bicolore! -Bentley Continental GT -Lamborghini Murcielago!
Yesterday afternoon a red F430 spider at Birkdale Village in Huntersville. Looked great sitting in the sun. Also spotted two Jaguar F-Types and a Nissan GT-R on highway 77 near Huntersville.
Yesterday around lunch a white 360 Modena with challenge grill parked at the Cleveland Ale House at I-40 and Hwy 42 in Garner.
He's there all the time. I heard that white was never offered on the 360 (or at least, not in the U.S.) so they are pretty rare to see in that color here.
Maybe the Spider was but I'm pretty sure the coupe wasn't. The coupes are crazy rare in white. Good deal. Maybe he's new to the area. I'll have to keep my eyes out for him again, first Phantom coupe I've ever seen in person.
Polaris Slingshots are getting somewhat common now, but I did see another red SL model unexpectedly at Bond Park in Cary today at about 1:30.
White Audi R8 on highway 521 this evening. Black Jaguar F-Type on Ballantyne Commons Parkway in the afternoon.
Silver Bentley Continental Flying Spur at the Wells Fargo at Waverly Place in Cary today around 1:30 or so, on enormous aftermarket wheels. Had dealer plates on it, anyone know where it would've been from?
A couple sightings today: -Red Ferrari California at the intersection of Fairview and Sharon Roads -Red Ferrari Testarossa near Gleneagles Road -White Lamborghini Gallardo at 131 Main Restaurant. Seen it around several times now. -Lime Green Lamborghini Aventador Roadster tuned by Underground Racing! At Quail Corners Shopping Center.
This evening, saw the most well-appointed Aston Martin DB9 I've ever seen. Caught me off guard as it was parked at the Lowes Foods plaza at NC 50/NC42 and had Indiana plates. Strangely enough I'd seen it before, several months ago, but I didn't get a good look at it till tonight. It was silver and had some great looking Kahn RS-V wheels on it which contrasted the bright red brake calipers very well, as well as a subtle carbon fiber design kit (small front splitter and rear diffuser).
White BMW i8 parked at the corner of Morgan and St. Mary's St at about 3:00 today. There were also a couple of 911s parked near it.
Thanks Chris. I wasn't going to post pics of them on here, but...oh well, hopefully if you like a simple report of them, you'll like some pics even better! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yesterday at the corner of holly springs and penny rd in Cary….maroon? with light interior 458 coupe. must have an after market exhaust as it sounded incredible. My 4 year old son screamed "now THAT is what I want!! A ferrari like that!". So happy he has great taste. So sad we were in a honda minivan.
Nice! Haven't seen that one before. Wonder if he lives here or was just passing through/visiting. It would be awesome if there were more 458s in the Cary area...I know of one red 458 Spider and that's it. If you don't mind me asking what time was it? I drive through that intersection a fair amount and haven't ever seen it before.
4 o'clock or so? For some reason I have seen lamborghinis, bentleys, and a few ferraris going down penny road over the last few years.
Oh that's cool. I usually drive through there at around 11:00 on Fridays, and the only notable cars I've seen were an older dark colored Dodge Viper and a newer white Bentley Continental GT W12. There are a lot of very wealthy neighborhoods near that intersection and near the Penny Rd and Ederlee Dr intersection though. A long time ago (probably 10+ years) I saw a red 360 coupe drive through the Penny Rd and Kildaire Farm Rd intersection, but that's one of the only Ferraris I've seen in Cary (the others being a red F430 manual coupe, dark red 430 Scuderia, red F430 Spider, blue F355 Spider, black 328 I think, and red 458 Spider).
About a week ago or so I saw a white California with the top down driving through Fayetteville on Morganton. Is that anyone here??? PDG
