And we can not understand why you never think something might be even somehow the fault of Hamilton...Even when he screws a start, then the car is to blame because in your opinion Hamilton seems to be infallible...
LMAO!! I bet you have a Hamilton "Fathead" on the ceiling above your bed. Three points you seem to be missing.... 1. Lewis cannot walk on water. 2. Lewis cannot turn water into wine. 3. Lewis did not part the Red Sea.
Yes that is the person you showing over and over that you are. Of course. Your greatest hero is just a human. One day you'll realize that. He wouldn't stand a chance against the Hulk and other real heros. There is too much fiction blending into your reality. Since you love your pre-selected narrow minded statistics, Nico is a 3x Monaco winner in a row. Only the best of the best have achieved that. On a track where the driver counts more than the car. Lewis might never achieve that. Let him on car-tracks. Nico owns Monaco, where the driver is the key. Toil-argument over and out. Why don't you go watch FormulaE where the have identical cars... Oh wait, the team can still influence setup... I think you should watch darts or chess. There is only the player and no team to provide a good car.
Two thoughts. Having such a big lead on fourth Seb could have pitted and retained place and closed up on Nico under caution. MB had a legitimate concern. Pulling Lewis in, but not Nico, put him, at best, second. Meaning that he'd be attempting a pass on a teammate. Not a wise strategy at Monaco.
WE all know Hamilton as problems managing his tires ( i remenber well the hungarian g.p when even before the race i was sure he would cook his tires), on the other hand, any midfield driver can hold position at Monaco with bad tires especialy if he was driving the best car, so it was plain stupidity by hamilton...of course this is not unexpected from him, if he was a great driver, like Niki, Prost Shummi, vettel, he would have used his brain, but of course he isn't, he drives well, is relativly fast, decent car control but that's about it, he can win in a top car, other tha that he is a vulgar driver...
China 2007. Lewis wants to pit and is told to stay out on what are baloney skin tires. Ends up crashing out when he finally does try to enter the pits-listened to the pits and contributed to him losing the Wdc. Fast forward to last Sunday's debacle and it tells me Lewis hasn't learned anything. Tire degradation was nil, you were going to run many slow laps whilst they cleaned up the mess, and everyone was on the same tires. Throw in the fact that Monaco is a joke in terms of passing opportunities and it was a poor decision by the team but Lewis should have known better. If Lewis somehow loses the Wdc this race will come back to haunt him, although I think he will win it easily.
Clearly I am being trolled now. Especially by Pedro. Well known troll. He doesn't even belief what he says.
Hami sings: Im so witty Im so witty The other drivers are so bad And a pity That nobody on my team can add! (Apologies to Berstein/Sondheim for this parody of a West Side Story song) Best
" I am in the majority here..." That's funny right there! A recent issue of F1 magazine has an article on strategy by Pat Symonds, and he mentions that yes the team calls the strategy, looks at thousands of scenarios (with computers) but sometimes like with rain it's the DRIVERs call on a tire change.
^^^ Yep the driver has the final say so and telemetry cannot substitute a drivers feel for how the car is acting.
I doubt it will cost him the WDC (too much season left, and if Seb or Nico raises his game to challenge LH and win, either will deserve it), but I agree that common sense should have ruled here. That said, the team could have easily assessed that Ferrari (Vettel) DID NOT pit. They were trying to make everyone play follow-the-leader, and it exploded in their faces. They knew they didn't have enough time in hand to pit and emerge in front of Vettel (they would have forced Nico to give back the spot, imo). Tough way to lose a race Hamilton dominated up to that point, but mistakes happen. It's a "learning experience" for all involved. It happened, but all is not lost...Ham even still leads the WDC and Merc the WCC
LOL. You are good at "poking the bear", that's for certain...keeps the conversations "lively" though. I hate to admit it, but I actually enjoy the back-and-forth (for the most part, until it becomes too personal) In spite of this "vulgarity", he is one of three drivers the grid could not afford to be without. I like Mssrs Max and Ricci also, but they have yet to prove sustained excellence (I like Sainz also). The others are all obviously great drivers but lack the transcendental capabilities that make them top-shelf.
What I have a tough time understanding is how today, Tuesday May 26, we still have forum members here blaming Hamilton for that pit stop. You know this internet thing you use to connect here? You can also connect to dozens and dozens of other web sites, where you can find statements from Lauda, Wolff, Mercedes F1, all of which state that is was a Mercedes pit wall decision to pit Hamilton, and that their strategy computer screwed up by miscalculating the impact of Hamilton catching the real safety car before the pit entrance and having to slow down, losing about 4 seconds compared to the cars further back on the track. Honestly, it's pretty telling when people come here and attack Hamilton, without having bothered to actually read any of the actual information published by so many other actual sources. You guys hate Hamilton that much that you'll deliberately ignore facts to have an opportunity to post more idiotic rants?
You new to the interweb? Were it limited to reasonable, rational and sane discourse it would be one tenth its current size.
