IMO, It sure does look a lot better with no shields on it. Keep up the good work!

    Lovely.

Here is a bi colour f12 with the novitec bits. Kind of kills the lines a bit.

I think so ! but it's difficult to be 100% sure since the picture is probably heavily edited :)

Not necessarily true. Usually in this type of pic, its just a mask that allows you to selectively desaturate the background to bring out the subject. Here it looks like that's all he did, except he kept the architectural detail saturated to add a design touch. My guess is that the car itself is probably pretty much the original photo, because that's how I do it. Of course I don't know for sure but I don't see any reason to suspect that the car is photoshopped.

In which case, what colour would you say that is as I have never seen anything like it anywhere, let alone Ferrari?

I'm no expert on Ferrari colors like some others here, but I look at that and I see Grigio Silverstone. He placed the car to emphasize the body surface reflections in the bright sunlight (off the cobblestones, the building). Like I said, I don't know for sure, but nothing about this seems that far off -- as to the car itself. As I said, the backgrounds are clearly manipulated. And of course the purpose of doing that it to change how you perceive the car.

Ok car is back from the shop with a new sword in the front bumper (just went for black painted at $1,400 as I thought that was expensive enough for a parking mistake) and have a new combo on the car: trying the Michelins with the oem wheels and aerobridges with carbon shields. Personally I think it looks great. Every time I get this car back it has the excitement of getting a new car!
