I guess the Cali 30 wheels are now an option?

It is a great article and, again, as usual plenty of off-point comments from people who have not driven the Cali. I am moving from the Maserati Granturismo to the 2015 Cali so my database is pretty full. The Maser was and is a great car and it's sound in Sport mode cannot be equaled, but the Cali has 125-130 more hp and a better suspension for the twisties. During my test drive of the Cali my smile started with the first shift and remained silly until the very end. In short, the new Cali will be a huge success in the U.S.

I find these newer articles share nothing new information-wise.

I see the comparo with the Aston and even Jag and Bentley. Porsche 911 is rear engine and a different kettle of fish IMVHO. Sure some folks will switch from Porsche. Probably for styling and hardtop convertible reasons vs handling characteristics. But its great we have a choice.

It would be a tough choice for me. 911 has awd. Cali has better looks, more exclusivity and a hardtop.

Only thing I noticed, which was nice, was the 0-60 of 3.3 secs.

But that was probably with launch control. 5-60 rolling start swells the time to 3.9 secs.

Saw a blue one the other day. Eh, it stands out in that it's unique looking, but not quite special enough to warrant the price IMO. Looks different, but not exotic.

It's an awesome car, but I'm a bit skeptical of those numbers. The numbers C&D got would mean the Cali T can run door-to-door with a stock GTR or Z06. I drove one this week and loved it, but it didn't feel nearly as fast as my GTR. In all fairness, I was a bit limited in what I could do with it. It will be interesting to see some real world owners run them at the track.
