well that explains the cut out.
I thought the swiss cars were wet sump, btw....is that not the case?
Would I be right in assuming it's not the factory muffler then? Didn't dry sump cars come with a single exhaust?

I believe the thought is that many Swiss 308's were converted to a four outlet after the factory and before delivery. Dealer installed option. Mine also has 7.5 inch wheels, date stamped 76 that were probably dealer installed as well.

    Very nice !

What brand is your exhaust if original ? Usually, four pipes are higher on dry sump engine (see Galerie Brummen car for example) and because of the hole missing, it looks like the US wet sump with air pump exhaust specification.

its an ANSA exhaust. Here is a side view that better illustrates the angle of the exhaust, it's actually much higher than it appears in the prior picture.

    Can you say "overheated"?

Don't mean to be a doomsdayer but this sort of price frenzy often precedes a crash.

You better add a "0" to your price Mark ! Otherwise your car has been sold and can be shipped back to Europe !! I'll immedialety list it for eur. 600.000 just to annoy the seller of the 10K kilometer car ! (I'm pretty shure your car has done a lot less since the rebuild ?!)

It's been restored. I'm sure it's not exactly the original colour. I think it's the later model azzuro.

    yes, pino verdi

adelaide car, I'm the third owner, had it for 16 years. Refreshed engine and gearbox, suspension, brakes etc, all to original, new paint about 15 years ago that hasn't seen the outside yet, nearly there.

Ahhh, the elusive SA Pino Verdi glass car! I have the only other Pino Verdi glass 308 in Australia, hence my interest.
I saw your car driving around Adelaide during the F1 race weekend many years ago. Nearly fell over as I didn't realise there were 2 here in that rare colour. Good to see it will be back on the road soon.

It is a variation on the original 70's Azzuro, much nicer and vibrant to my eyes. Looks like the Azzuro on a 360 Modena.

You really have it written somewhere as "pino verdi"? The traditional italian writing would rather be "Verde Pino"...which means "pine Green".

Good point, but the change occurred in 1977, so later vetroresina may have the bold type odometer. This one is apparently from February, it does seem a little early to me, but I can't be definitive about it.
