Gorgeous white sand. What are those round, hoop-like things? Tents?

No , just some fancy couch they have at the club that's partially shaded . Not that comfortable but the kids like them. The beach is Longboat Key Club. Great place for a family vacation. We are lucky to live here in Sarasota.

Waterfront, 100%. For now, vehicles>2nd home. ;) Got wealth at my disposal (family) but by choice I do things on my own. Slow and steady. Primary is paid and I should be done with the vehicles in 7 years. Then, waterfront. :)

Mike , I do like The Stone Temple Pilots but they sorta suck without Weiland.
Ps. You can always take the family to the beach without buying bro. Thx for the video.

    Agreed. Weiland makes them.

When you step back, we only ever rent things in life, anyway. That said, I prefer the illusion of ownership. ;)

    No prob, amigo. :)

Years of going in record stores since I was a kid and buying CDs that looked cool even though I knew nothing about what was about to hit my ears. I found a satisfaction from people asking me who it was they were listening to. Later I would buy mags that came with a cd of new singles by mostly unknowns. I would also see what artists would play at certain genre shows that appealed to me and blind buy albums by artists I didn't know. Then came Amazon reviews where people would cross reference other bands that I would then buy music from. Now it's YouTube that helps me vet without dropping near the coin I had to when I started. It's been a long ride, but I've found some gems along the way.

Really glad I've been able to throw some good tunes your way, Kirk. :)

Not so obscure, but what I have in my truck's CD player at the mo....

Surfed after work Friday and for 4 hours yesterday with two of my bros.

The ocean is my lover and tonic for the soul.

PS don't tell my wife that.

STP summer of 93 was the shiznit.

Saw The Crow first night it came out. Weiland's voice haunting.

Listened to STP all through Europe.

Stayed in Costa Rica for three months. Lived in a tiny one bedroom house on the beach with four other surfers and surfed everyday. One of my most memorable experiences in life.

I've been driving my F150 almost exclusively lately. It has 3months free Serious XM. My first impression of sat radio was its no better then regular free radio. But now I like the no commercials, the channels 80's on 8 and 90's on 9 are awesome. So I'm listening to 80's and 90's top 40 lately.

Wife got it free on her new Benz. Was nice, but didn't want to pay for it. I liked those stations, plus 60s and 70s. Lately, been listening to jazz, based on suggestions from jazz lover's thread, trying to expand my horizons....T

I was in the didn't want to pay camp. Did have it in my Cayenne too. But when I subscribed only listened to Howard Stern. Now trying more channels, I'll be subscribing.

But the one thing I miss about regular radio is local and Canadian news. I also have a place in the U.S, have Direct TV there and can use the receivers in Canada. So my television is pretty much American here. With regular radio some Canadian content was nice!

Saw Little Hurricane perform a while back, (I thought Coachella or another music festival) I liked them..so many groups sound like each other, or another iteration, of something, and they are forgettable...
I listen to Sirius all the time mostly Howard, i tend to listen to more house music though, and new music, with an occasion to some old stuff.. nothing like a good beat with deep bass...

Thanks. Am always impressed at how well their instruments complement each other, and Plant's vocals...T
