LOL! If you need logic to understand Monaco there is not hope. Fantastic LOL :) Since when did it go out of style at the worlds worst racetrack?

--"If the same or a similar situation as Monaco were to arise in the future, we would not decide because of the data or the computer, but because of logic and common sense," he insisted. -- The new logician Toto Wolff

Either Wolff is stupid, thinks his audience is stupid or both. ;)

When you make a decision without considering ALL of the data, you can't blame the data for your bad decision. BTW Toto, there is no logic without data.

I vaguely recall from a mathematical logic course I took many moons ago that you started from your givens, applied basic rules of logic, and then came to a conclusion.

Given... It's nearly impossible to pass in Monaco
    Given... We're in Monaco
Given... We're in the lead with precious few laps remaining.

    Logical conclusion... Don't pit!!

    :)

Man, I hope Canadian GP is half as much fun as Monaco GP! Do away with the merry-go-round, let there be some passing, and fans will talk about it excitedly...T

Yup, exactly. "Logic" without data = emotion; completely and utterly opposite end of the spectrum.

I enjoyed the race beyond comprehension due to data and Group 44's paranoia.

Didn't a Merc win with data? You wouldn't know it...;)

    Hey...good point.

Even with LOSING the race, Lewis hogs the limelight and Nico doesn't get a mention.

    Pretty funny really.

    :D

I'd think that Spock is spinning!........

As others have alluded to, how the hell can anyone make a logical decision without data? ;)

I don't think Toto is anyone's fool. I guess the journo's took it out of context and/or twisted what he actually meant, as per usual.

Pretty funny stuff either way. ;)

    Cheers,
    Ian

HAMerc logic probably dictates that its the car's fault. Car needs to be way faster so that NEXT TIME, Lewis can pit from the lead with 10 laps remaining and still win in Monaco. Practice makes perfect :)

This may unravel the whole issue...does Mercedes use PC or Apple?
