It still sounds like a Ferrari

Maclaren sound is very generic, upshift sounds like torque converted automatic slushbox (no upshift pops ala 488) the downshifts are very melodramatic and the tone isn't noteworthy.

The 488 retains those little details that brings about "soul" just with a muffled sountrack.

Hopefully I'll be able to hear a 650s and 488 together soon.

Sounds a little more like the F430, a bit more baritone.

Honestly, it sounds not much different inside than my 12C based on that video.

True True True. Especially with sport exhaust option. But 488 looks much better, some more Lambo's dealers have problem, they tend to ask for premium all the time. It's like Lambo doesn't give them enough profit. I almost ended up with Aventador, if not for the premium stuff.

I wouldnt judge the sound yet without hearing the real thing. When the 458 came out I was really not impressed by the sound. Having heard many different exhaust mods on the 458 it made me appreciate the stock sound more. It does sound more appealing to me. The 488 will have the same effect. Those slight turbo farts and the fast shifting will set it apart from the group and give its ferrariness. When we are honest, setting apart from others is what makes an ferrari a ferrari... I am waiting for modified exhausts to pop up and then will start exploring the natur of this one. The stock sound will bore me until then lol

Design gets better and better though...

evo have just put up a 'preview' which seems to be a round up of already published pieces so I'd guess it's coming pretty soon.

Now people have rosso hearing aids...

I've you've ever owned a V8 TT, you'll know that the sound is nothing that unique or great based on these videos.

I don't really like the horizontal slat above the license plate. I know it's great for downforce but makes the rear too busy looking.

    I agree.

Maybe black or a dark silver would mellow the look.

Ive been going back and forth deciding if I like it or not.
Meh I dont know have not seen it in flesh yet but I dont think
this will go down in history as a car to remember, feels like some middle thing
between 458 and a real replacement in 2020 the side-vents does not feel
spot on with the rest of the car feels like some harmony is missing.
At first I like the back but now I am not so sure, I like the front though
