Correct. But 6 months ago it would have been a completely different exchange rate and by the time the GTO comes out it will most likely be yet again different.

My point is that it's silly to use a Euro price when comparing USD or GBP. If you want to say that the British GTO car will 350.000 -365.000 GBP and I want to say it will be about 420.000-450.000 or so EUR. It would be assumed that we are discussing the market that we are purchasing in, using the currency for that market. I do not shop at the grocery for milk and talk in USD.

Ferrari has a price structure for each market and the car's prices do not fluctuate with exchange rates. Why would we start now....?

Silly or not, that is the price I was quoted by an excellent UK source and ties in with my other sources, and I was quoted in euros hence why I have passed this on in euros.

If you have a better source, then please share it with us.

It's a mule. Expect the final product to look very different from this one.

Is the M or final testing of the 'GTO' or 'VS'? We know there are some major rear end mods for this car and this happens to be the covered areas in this supposed M.

Do you think this new hyped up F12 will affect values on the standard F12?

Probably GTO. The FF M will be released next year, not the F12M, at least thats what I think.

Do you have good reason to, genuine information as opposed to supposition?

Aside from what I am told, does it not make sense to price this in a higher band to the standard car so they can go on selling the standard car until the M replacement arrives in 2017, next year being the FFM?

I could always be wrong, but this has come from several good sources.

Based on what I have heard the VS will be substantially more than the F12 so I am going to agree with you.

Don't really think there will be much effect on the standard F12 values, however I do feel they will likely follow in the footsteps of the 599 and find their own market.

A 30k discount on a car that every dealer in the US has a 12+ month wait list for...I believe you.

Well the US market is completely bonkers compared to our freedom of choice in Europe. No silly geographic restrictions, no need to earn enough "points" to purchase a new car through first buying used etc.

I have heard the same as Traveller re price. When our information correlates, I consider it watertight.

The market in Europe is completely different ... Last year , I was in a dealer in Europe where you could choose out of the showroom floor among a Black Speciale ( yes , you read it right : a SPECIALE ) , F12s , FF ... Just walk in , NEGOTIATE A DISCOUNT , pay and drive off ... Like buying a Chevy in the US .... Only in the United States the market is so tight and the games are on ....

Genuine info for market in 2 years time - Yes all V-12s tank 3-5 years after intro
Post #261 mentions a 30k discount right now - Market will only decline in time

FYI - in the US, for US cars we just send an email to the Internet Manager and never pay more than invoice on base and options as listed on Edmunds or KBB. Usually pay well below invoice with competing Internet Managers and OEM incentives. If you 'walk-in' you've made a big mistake. To me there is no US car worth negotiating on.

Would be great to bypass the BS for exotics as you describe in Europe. But then you'd have to live in Europe!

So just so I am tracking along here, what is the projected percent base or fully specified price increase over the standard F12? Something like 25%?

i post this here because the f12 section already have a heated hgte thread, but i heard they gonna call it the gto ??!!!
its gonna be a f12gto with 800 horse which i dont want it to, i like the next gto to come 25 years from now following tradition.

if ferrari is looking in on web forums, please dont call it the gto please.
    Thank u.

Ferrari only care about money. If the gto name makes the values rise they'll use it.
