In preparation for the Monaco GP I watched the Polanski film "Weekend of a Champion", which is basically a documentary of the 71 Monaco GP. Polanski follows Stewart every step of the way from Thursday to Sunday.

The footage is absolutely mesmerizing. On track and off. So many things to pick up in how F1 developed and how Monaco changed AND stayed the same. It is fantastic.

My fav scene is where Stewart over breakfast explains to Polanski how you do a fast lap around Monaco.

Awesome stuff and highly recommend it to anybody. Get it on Netflix.

its a great movie about Jackie Stewart. the footage is very good, with candid coverage of Stewart setting up the car in the wet. and hating the weather coming in down the mountains.

I can't count how many times I've sat through the film. Captured each piece perfectly and is a great window back through time.
