This was actually my second time at Sonoma Raceway with the CS. The first track day ended quickly as the front right tire was hitting the fender lip and actually pulled part of it down. Luckily there was no paint damage to the fender and I had both sides rolled. Apparently the previous owner had lowered it and I just didn't realize it.

Can you comment on brake pads? Did you change them out to something else like RS19/29's or did you keep them stock? And how did they last?

I just used the stock pads. I don't plan on tracking the CS regularly so haven't thought about pad alternatives. The brakes felt fine. Most of the time I am just going at a brisk pace. I think my fastest lap was about 2:02 but all other times I was just going around 2:05.

Now that your CS is worthless, I'll be nice and give you $50 for it :)

Another thumbs up here -- I track my CS all the time. Love the noise of the engine and the "always there" brakes.

    Great pics.

    Hey Marc,
I didn't know the car was lowered and the first time I took the car to Sonoma the front right tire actually clipped the edge of the fender and pull the fender down a bit. I had the car raised back to stock height and the fender rolled so no problems now. Car has been running great besides having the change the rear wheel bearings.
