Help! Italian wiring strikes again. My left turn indicator light randomly comes on and stays on, and the turn signal doesn't work when this happens. Nor does the hazard button work as it should. I'm guessing this is a burned out bulb in the front (we changed the rear bulb which seemingly fixed the problem), or the flasher fuse is bad. On most cars, the flasher, when activated, overrides all the other circuits: is this true of F-cars as well?

    Any trouble-shooting tips are welcomed.

When I find a bad electrical connection ie. relay plug in- clean and coat with dielectric grease. Seems to work without the "gold" kit.

Remove the lower a post trim under the dash. You will find the indicator controller behind it. Either dirty contacts on the connectors or dry joints on the board inside will cause this..

I had the signals and flashers fail.

Problem was the large electrical multi-functional relay had some cracks along the solder joints.

Soldering the joints seem to have solved the problem.
