    What exhaust system is the best for an 86-91 TR? Does in enhance or detract from value? Thanks.

    I think nobody knows exactly the power increase - if there is an increase
    you have to go on a dyno to see this

    Anything aftermarket on these cars will ultimately detract from value, regardless of how good it sounds. If you swap, keep the original and put it on when/if you sell.

    The highest power numbers I have seen on a Testarossa was with the factory muffler.

    Noise does not equal horsepower.



    Aftermarket mufflers usually detract from value.

    frankly I think these cars sounds like nothing with the stock exhaust. I love my X-OST with hyperflow cats. its insanely fun to hear behind me.

    We see dozens of oem TR and 512TR mufflers for sale for a just handful of dollars on Ebay ...

    A nice stainles steel Tuby or Capristo imo never de-values our cars imo ... and so what ?

    Install a nice looking/sounding exhaust!

    I have Hyper flow pipes for the precats, hyperflow cats and then a x-ost Maranello Muffler.
