I hear it's 'on display' at Sotheby's in New York. Does anyone know if their display area is open to the public?

I saw on TV that they simply parked it on the sidewalk right outside their building. Not sure if it's still there. Even if it was brought inside you can probably get easy access since they are trying to create 'buzz'. Give 'em a call.

I work right next door and will try and check on Monday. Unfortunately did not see it outside the building.

It's not an LM. Regular f1 with high downforce kit and lm engine.

Well, it is actually a F1 that received a factory upgrade to LM specifications. It certainly is no "regular F1" either being that this is one of only two F1s to get the factory upgrade. RM are advertising it as "The Road Going LM" for a reason...

Sorry to offend just going by Sotheby's advertising it as LM.[IMG]

Ugh, there's no great way to get there from the upper west side but this looks to be worth the hassle...

I have to think this thing will go for close to $20mil. Great timing by the seller.

I wasn't into going to see it at all, but my buddy convinced me and I'm really happy I went. Only thing that I've seen in person that came close to as cool for me was Jim glickenhaus' p4/5c

Sorry I'm no Ansel Adams. Good thing is that with a vehicle this beautiful, you don't really need to be.

I was just walking by and they had the doors open so I ran in. You would thing that it would be cleaner on the inside, especially the door panels. Not sure how you get all that wear with doors that open like that but man, do I want to drive that thing. Even being a passenger must be a trip with that seating position. maybe its not fair to expect the car to be like new on the inside but it does make me feel better that my 360 is cleaner. I know I did not take pictures, maybe later if I can.

From internet photos, it seems that the passenger seats are behind and somewhat higher up than the driver's seat. Is that so? That would be a wild ride!...T
