Because next owner ;) would have to pay a billion and a half ;)

Anyway, money is not everything when you love cars. If you want to HAVE cars - yes, but with LaF it's again another story :).
And if you love cars - you won't sell LaF for ANY money :)

That's also what I was wondering. It definitely was a black lafa on display at his casino, and I vaguely recall it having a beige/cuoio sort of interior. I think there wasva thread recently that said it was sold for $3M...T

There is no such thing as objective worth. Does a technological junk (in today's terms) like the 250 GTO really worth 25 millions? People just pay as much as they can in order to get what they want.

When F40s first came out they traded at >2x the selling price that Ferrari was offering them at, and more than 4x the initial price that was either officially or unofficially floating around (e.g., I have publications/books that featured the F40 after all technical specs were already released but before initial sale, that had the estimated pricing, much lower than what they sold for).

This doesn't seem wayyy off that... at least as an asking price.

    Reasonable, right?

IF there were ONLY 499 ever built, and u have more money than u know what to do with (there are LOTS of those people), only 202 miles, offer 3.5-4.0.

OR, just order the newest, NEXT version; spider, targa, speciale, etc., BECAUSE THEY WILL MAKE MORE!!!!

I don't believe there will be another version of the LaFerrari (Spider etc).

Ferrari should produce a "one-off" (see below) variant of the LaFerrari with a manual transmission, in a spyder format, and without the e-motor parts. They should then turbocharge it. They should then give it a better name than "LaFerrari" (perhaps "Ferrari Mezza Nudo" to represent the lack of the e-motor).

They can then sell it for $15mm and then decide to actually manufacture 100 of them. Voila, $1.5bn in revenue and probably 80% margin. Fiat will be thrilled.
