It would be shocking if it didn't do that. The Enzo... A great car but so much 2002 compared to the latest.

doesn't really apply to people who can buy the dealership outright a few hundred million times over - tough to sue that guy

Its some times better to forgo the profit to keep the brand's mystique. They'll make that profit up by asking clients to pay for and test the LaFerrari XX program. Ferrari is the only car company in the world that can command customers pay for testing a car.

Like the F40 and 288 the LaFerrari will be worth a fortune 25 years from now.

i concur with your statement. laferrari is much better looking than the enzo in flesh. even though the one i saw wasnt the blue car you have access to( to me the best specced laferrari to date), it is still great looking. maybe i am just a fan boy, but the way laferrari looks makes every other car ( p1, 918, pagani, what ever you put next to it) looks plain in comparison.

You might want to try a few other contacts. Not what I heard. Keep digging a little deeper. It won't be something you can order but something you can buy. It will be close to 4M

    I've already said too much

That's the issue. I need the car to be specced. Are you talking about buying an already built car?

    Hi Randy,

Are the cars already built? What i meant was that my contact was/is looking to get one that he can spec. It was still possible a few months back and he missed one such chance by 48h.

Yes it is built. Loaded with every single option. Red on black. If you need other than Red/Black spec this isn't the car for your guy. It's untitled so would be the only car he can get without an owner on it AFAIK.

I suggest call a few dealers and brokers. Most dealers probably have no idea about this vehicle at the factory. For me $4M (including sales tax) just too heavy for this car in this market when you can get them closer to $3M. Also strange how Ferrari asking well over 100% MSRP through "channels"

I also can't figure out why some very very HNW people are selling their LaFerrari's already. It certainly isn't for the money. They simply don't need it. Also a chance to own and hold onto this car is coveted plus it will likely appreciate further up from here. It probably will exceed the returns they can get in the markets or elsewhere. These guys are big Ferrari owners and $3M is a rounding error. Some that are selling are worth well north of $100M and some over $200M.

Do you think they just don't love the car? Is it too much? I heard one guy said it was so outrageous on the streets everyone just follows you around. Too annoying for some of these HNW guys? Just strange why so many in this position would sell this car right now.

Also the one I'm talking about for almost $4M was a car that allegedly the buyer decided not to take. The person who I won't disclose, was somebody that was very HNW too and could have easily taken this car. Again very bizarre as even if this person took delivery, held it for 18 months and flipped it they would double their money. That's the worse case scenario.

I guess stranger things have happened in the world of F cars

Yes, i have access to these already built cars.

I think for these people who are already selling their Laf, it's either because the car is too much ( I met an Enzo owner in paris once who told me he loved it but he was afraid of it and didnt want to own it if it was to be parked or driven at a slow pace..he actually ended up crashing it on the Dijon track..) or as Joe said for Mr Wynn, their health do not let them use the car. I am sure some ordered it knowing full well they would sell it asap. These people simply prefer money to the car. If you sell it for $3m, you still have to pay 30% on the gain so you pocket $1m. Is that a lot of money if you are worth $200m? I dont know :)

Andrew, at this point, your guy needs to wait for an already-built car in the right livery.

    Patience + cash = success.

Let me know what livery he wants, I have a dozen clients who have LFs, and some may be willing to sell.

steve wynn is a billionaire, he is 73 years old. He doesnt give a damn about laferrari value wheter it appreciates or depreciate the next 25 years.. Also ive heard he has tunnell vision which means he cant drive the car anyway

I love the Laferrari, but I think most people would agree that there is NOTHING plain about a Pagani.

i think exterior wise, from the design stand point- being coherent, aggressive and elegant( i know it might sound a bit contradictory)in most viewing angles, i would hand that to laferrari. i have seen a silver and a black huayra along with a laferrari at the same place. i didn't get access to the interior but judging from the appearance from close to distance, huayra has nothing on the laferrari, of course, it is just my opinion.

but if you are counting the extravagance of pagani's interior...then yea, 'plain' is the wrong word to describe it.

No competition between LF and Huayra. Different philosophies, different DNA, different approach to design. I happen to own a Huayra, wish I had an Lf too. Both great.

PS my huayra is dark blue and I have a friend with a dark blue LF. I think it's time for some side by side pics!
