Soooooo, are you saying you like the US bumpers or you don't like them ? I'm not sure where you stand, could you say it for the 23rd time. Let me guess, your car has no bumpers ?

Nope. Plain old 70s flat paint. But the chaps at Goodwood, where this pic was taken, did give it a coat of polish.

Without. Looks like the entire auction was a flop. From what I can tell on their website the sell through was less than half the cars offered. Not a well known auction house.

Great detail images Luis, they show items that require some TLC, all easily addressed.

It always surprises me that many of the cars that come to auction are presented with minor flaws that could all easily be taken care of, considering that the sum total of said flaws make a significant difference in the overall picture.

1120172 used to look like this when Paul Marshall owned it and it had the hand-controls. The only difference I note is that the interior was originally Tobacco. Apologies for the terrible quality video.

Nice car. BUT the Fiat behind....I drove one this weekend and, boy o boy, was that fun. Giggled the whole time. Hard to believe how small they are. Cruised along very well with other cars, not as slow as I thought :)
Another car we all should have, for fun, in our stables.

Does anyone have insight on the Periscopo being offered at Monterey?

So.........both cars, with high miles (as measured by US perceptions).....brought:

~$280K with all fees etc. for the Anni.
    and
~$400K with all fees etc. for the DD
Seems pretty much in line with the US market for high mileage cars....no?

Both a little below the low estimates, but auction houses always try to force prices up and up with higher and higher estimates imo.

The definition of 25+ year old cars car with 30Kms being high mileage cars is an interesting concept. That is barely 800 miles/year. That is frugal reasonable fun mileage.

Very interesting price difference between the two, both dd cars, very similar kms,yet 110000 euro apart, l am not surprised.but still bigger gap than i would have guessed.

what ive learned is mileage does matter if you care about absolute value - even though the mileage is low on a relative basis its still considered high on an absolute basis. and people who pay premiums for low ultra low mileage examples don't care the car might have issues because they don't plan on really driving them anyway. the world is a crazy place

to be frank I was surprised it wasn't bigger than that. the anny cars def seem to have less of a cult following and for a while the spread was closer to 200k +

I agree with you, despite the fact both cars drive similar, 25th has less cult, I was wondering the QV doing close to 380 - 400k € kowning some QV this year that hitted the 450k to 600k €...
