Fantastic watching HULK win this. He was amazing all race. Gutted for the 51 Ferrari having problems. Wanted to see a battle between them and the Vette. At least we won GTE-Am.

Had more fun watching this one race than I've had watching F1 this year...

Great to see the cars setting lap records and the size of the crowd reflected the excitement. You listening F1??

Great win for Porsche. They built a beast of a car this year.

Gutted the Nismo's were so off the pace.

Terrible TV coverage in my area, Comcast and Fox.
Fox 1, Fox 2 ( I don't get Fox 2 ) all over the place I only watched about one hour of it.
We need another dedicated network to cover racing, motors ports, anything with an engine and a checkered flag. I provided the idea you provide the funds lol

    A great race all round.

Pity for the Audi team that their challenge faded with their late problems, otherwise it
would have gone down to the wire.

Excellent for Porsche after their long absence from prototype racing to return with such
a resounding victory after their early reliability problems this season.

Hulkenberg has learned what Tom Kristensen did in 1997, he doesn't need F-1 and he
may make an excellent career for himself in sports car racing without all the polemics
    and nonsense. Great for Hulkenberg!

The future is very bright for sports car racing.

PS: Is an accurate crowd size reported? Heard 250K but also heard 400K. The spectator
areas looked packed at peak hours, even during the night.

Damn straight - I was never so disgusted when I discovered that it was only on Fox Sports 2 here in my area on Verizon, which I don't get.

To expand on this, I am also regularly disgusted with NBCsports when they refuse to put an F1 race on at a reasonable hour of the day on Sunday and instead show Euro Soccer or some such.

I agree we need another dedicated network to show racing, but maybe this time one not so obsessed with Nascar like SpeedTV was.

Audi w lowest energy consumption is as exciting as saying " my GF is a size 12"

I think Audi & F1 & many other organizations have lost the whole point of racing

This must be the first in a good many years that there was no real rain!

Think I watched around 18 hours orso, I missed an hour orso 4 hours in, then I had some sleep at about 3 AM till 7...

Very happy that Porsche won. Great drives. Nismo once again a ridiculous concept with results anyone with half a brain could have predicted...Not a chance FF would work better than what Toyota, Porsche and Audi are doing.

That said...the Nismo did look very good, no doubt they put many hours in but I wish that NISMO would stop trying to reinvent the wheel and actually go with what works, and compete with Toyota at least and try to compete with the top dogs Porsche and Audi. Their Delta wing concept was equally ridiculous.

+1. Crowd and action easily surpassing F1. As I post in the F1 section- If F1 disappears there are options!

Add Indy Car to this mix. Racing is about the smartest and the fastest. Not about "lets play fair".

What a race! The result was never certain until the last moment. Congrats Porsche and the Hulk (and team). Great to watch, action all over the track all through the race. What a spectacle.

As a long time F1 fan, I would have no hesitation in switching allegiance to WEC if the TV coverage was just a bit better.

Proud to be a kiwi with New Zealand drivers first and second. Go team Porsche, was getting a little boring watching Audi's win each year.

What an amazing race. I enjoyed every bit of it. Lost the feed on Saturday night for a few hours. COuld not find a live stream as well.

Amazing win by Porsche. Good that Audi didn't win. The last thing we want at Le Mans is another dominant outfit like Merc are in F1. Boring.

I have to say Toyota have plenty to catch up. They almost won in the last two years.

Nissan i think made a fool out of themselves. True, i respect their courage and determination to build something non-conventional. But releasing foolish statements just before the race in a generally untested car in racing conditions was a PR disaster.

Having said so, i think they have a good future ahead, and i think they can potentially take up the fight to Audi and Porsche soon. Hopefully by 2016.
