LOL - indeed we do have that. Personally, I don't care about values honestly - at least in the short term. There are pros and cons to them being "cheap" vs appreciating. It would have to be worth close to a million for me to consider selling because that is the level where I could take that money and go racing seriously and/or replace it and go racing : )
i know, before the scuds.were so much in supply and no demand, now it's in SO MUCH in Demand but i rather let it stay that way .
I would agree with that statement. The supply seems to have gotten smaller in the past two months. I have not watched the Scud market that long (only from fall 2014 to spring 2015 when I found my Scud), so unsure if that is seasonal, brought on by summer demands or something else. In other words, cars are being snapped up more quickly, so you are not seeing cars sitting for sale forever online (except those way over priced). Or that people are holding through the summer to enjoy them, and will place them on the market in the fall or winter. Some sort of equilibrium will be reached...if demand is that strong, (or supply that short) we will see prices rise further. The market will speak....one persons musings cannot make it so...whether me, or the other guy...
This coming fall and winter will give us a better idea about the market. My prediction is that prices will keep rising and I'm not saying that because I want to sell mine anytime soon. I'm keeping it so it doesn't matter to me.
I think if collectible cars continue to climb as they have, the scud will too. Rising tide lifts all boats.
Figure one less on the supply side, I'm going to be buried in mine HAHA Hard to put a price tag on that whole visceral rush every time I go out for a drive.... Best car I've ever owned and best money I've ever spent....'nuff said Todd B. In the OC

damn... looks like gonna have to put off scud dream for a few years and hope that the market goes down (that or my stock pick comes in!!)
When I was buying my Scud last year there were at least 3 cars in Europe for about 120 000 Euro. Now as far as I can see, the lowest one is 140 000 Euro and the next one is 10K more... The prices are definately going up and if the Scud follows the 360CS tendency, its price will probably reach 200 000 Euro after about 2 years, I think. The raw NA-engine cars are starting to rise value after all these turbo and hybrid stuff... Look at the Porsche Carrera GT - 3 years ago it was about 300 000 Euro and now it's almost reaching a million!
Both of these cars are beautiful. Looked at them this past weekend. One has stripes and one does not. The one without has a full set of luggage. when I was there the one with stripes had a deal on it.
