Yes, but it's not confirmed yet if this stripe is applied by the factory or if it is an aftermarket sticker.

"Stripe: Yes" just means the car has a stripe (as we can see in the photos).

Agreed. He has a wonderful sales pitch in the ad, that goes on and on about the CS in general, but absolutely no specifics about this car. Where are the original wheels and bolts? Why the change? What is the service history? Ownership history? USA or Canadian market car? The drivers seat bolster definitely shows the 42k km, and then some...looks like the stitching gave way...

At $95K it's a deal even if it has a salvage title.....

Unless it's not really a CS. But it looks legit in the pics.

    That thing is back!? Ack.

    It's a real CS

    VIN verified. "57" indicates it's a CS.

I think the asking price was to low. That car would be a good buy at $320K.

After I drive the Scud a bit more, I'll leave a better comparison. From just a few days driving, here are some initial impressions. The Scud is louder at lower rpm's. Not better, but louder. At full chat, I prefer the 5 valve per cylinder music to the 4 valve. Again, neither is bad, just a preference. I do really like the ability to soften the suspension in the Scud on public roads. Having a radio in the Scud is different too. Nice to have (when I ever turn it on), even if it is crap and the Bluetooth feature is pretty much useless. Wont play my songs. Overall, I would say the experience (I've only put 200 miles on the Scud) is roughly the same. The Scud just seems to be a Stradale cranked up to 11 with regards to power. Now, the brake pads on the Scud are brand new and I need to do a proper break in when I get the car back so have not compared brakes. And, I will say, the exhaust valve actuation in the Scud is "weird". Seems to be much more obvious when it opens and closes. I could tell in the CS but it was more "smooth". When I'm cruising in the Scud, say in 4th at 2500 rpms, then put my foot down, the exhaust continues as is for a second, then a "brrrrrrrr" as the valve opens, and as revs climb, it turns into the proper Ferrari note. Hard to explain. Oh, and the gearbox. Full chat shifts are AWESOME!!!! Reminds me of my old Gallardo, hard hitting. That'll take some getting used to again. I was always afraid in the G that something was going to break when it shifted that hard. The Ferrari mechanic who looked the car over for me said they made a lot of improvements in the gearbox like curved shift fork "tongs" to help it shift faster. And that when it shifts that fast, it's actually better for clutch wear. One thing is def in common.........I always keep both cars in "RACE". ;-)

The kart is the reason I bought a Ferrari instead of a 12C.....had to keep my toys in the same "vein". lol There's not a day goes by though that I don't contemplate a move to McLaren. Wish I could afford a 675LT. ALMOST bought the gray car at San Fran McLaren. Final reason I bought the Scud.....rising values of it vs highly depreciating values of the 12C's. If, in a year, I decide I really do want to shift camps, I can sell the Scud for, at least, what I bought it for, and move to McL. I just really like Ron Dennis's etho's, how they take care of and seem to care for their customers, and those beautiful diheadral doors. :)

Wow....I don't write my mother emails or letters this long. You must be special Stokpro. lol

I appreciate your posting the comparison of the Scud and CS. BTW, if you want to eliminate the "transition" in the exhaust valves on your Scud, you can simply buy the Forza Exhaust Controller. ;)

They are not returning phone calls or messages from the Auto Trader site.
    Maybe sold?

If you search the VIN on this CS you will find the following from a thread few years ago.

"Long story short: acid leaked from a battery tender of a car stored above the CS on a lift. acid dripped over the engine hatch, roof, and quarter panels. while the engine hatch damage has likely been repaired, I would look over the roof/quarter panels carefully."
