I recently purchased a 1972 Porsche 911 into which a prior owner had fitted some non-Porsche seats. When I bought the car, the current owner thought they might be Ferrari seats, but I have not been able to find a match, thought maybe someone here might know. I haven't pulled them out to look underneath - but I can't find any identification marks on them.

They do articulate forward to allow rear seat access, they are on sliders with a latch lever underneath, and there is a knob-style rake adjustment. Any idea what these might be?

I have no idea, now let's see some pictures of the 911.

Looks like some type of Scheel seat? Very similar to the RS and ST style seats I've seen in 911's.

Whatever they are, they're not factory seats from any Ferrari. I'm moving the thread to the Porsche forum, where I think you'll get a better response.

They aren't Porsche seats either, or the brackets wouldn't be so narrow.

Been a while since I checked this thread, sorry! Funny thing, I was watching an episode of Legendary Motorcar the other day, and they were inspecting an early glass-body 308, and the seats jumped out at me - those are my seats! This morning I googled "early 308 seats" and lo and behold it took me right back to this thread, lol. Tony K, you nailed it, thanks!

Thanks - the car came with a 3.0L with Webers. I am in the middle of a rebuild right of that motor right now, though, and will be converting to an MFI throttle-body based EFI setup.
